Vampires Will Never Hurt You

Frank's P.O.V

Bob, Ray and Mikes walked through the door, smiling at the two of us. I waited for them to all be seated and then we began talking for a while.

"Well, Gerard, Frank..." Mikes spoke with a small grin. "We want to start a band!"

"A what?!" Gerard asked, quite stunned at his brothers proposal.

"A band."

"I heard you, but... What!" I was getting concerned about Gerard's raised voice.

"Well, you know how to sing and Bob can play the drums."

"So... Just me and Bob?" The rest of us just looked back and forth between the two brothers.

"Ofcourse not, I want to learn bass and Ray's learning guitar."

"Oh, I can play the guitar!" I piped up hyperly, smiling too.

"See, we have a band!" Mikes grinned and hope filled his eyes.

"But Mikey," Gerard complained. "We have NO band, we have NO name. And even if we did, there is NO way that any-one would sign a little New Jersey band like us."

"You never know, it's worth a try!" Mikes was really happy and the rest just looked on in agreement.

"What do you think, Frank?" Gerard turned to me and stroked my hair.

"I think it would be really healthy for us all, we'll get closer together. We can show teens how life is actually worht living." I replied, smirking too.

"Okay then, we'll do it."

"We'll need to get jobs, to pay for guitars and stuff," Ray spoke from the other side of the room.

We all nodded in agreement and then began talking about the name.

"First on the list, the name." Bob pondered, looking at us all for suggestions.

"How about, Flashing Lightening?" Ray murmered.

"Nah, it's not really 'us'," I thought about it and started to ponder again.

"Oh! My Chemical Romance?" Mikey smiled and we all nodded.

"Oh did you come up with that Mikey?" Gee asked, a huge grin on his face.

"I was ready a book, the title was 'Chemical Romance' or something."

"Wow, good thinking Michael!" Bob patted his back, cauing Mikes to frown and every-one else to laugh.
