The Kiss Was Explosive.

Livy's fingers were numb as she dialed the numbers on the phone.

"Hello?" Samantha giggled into the phone as her boyfriend grabbed her leg and began tickling her.

"Sammy?"

"Yes? Livy?" She shreaked as Sean bit her.

"Yeah. Alex just kissed me."

Samantha sat straight up and pushed Sean away. "What?!"

"Alex kissed me."

Sean sat up beside Sam and took her hand. "Who is it baby?"

"Livy... Shhh, babe. I'm talking to her."

"Hey Sean," Livy muttered and continued to Samantha, "What do I do?"

"Did you kiss back?"

"Yes!"

"Then you've done exactly what I would've done."

"Yeah, I know. Listen, I have to get back to work."

"Alright. Call me if you need me hun."

"Alright. Love you."

"Love you too. I wish you luck!"

Livy put the phone back down gently and walked out into the diner, letting in a long breath.

"Livy?"

Alex looked small and beside himself.

"Alex?"

"Do you think you might want to go out? I know I kissed you so suddenly today... I'm sorry."

"No, don't be sorry."

"But I am."

"Why?"

"Because I broke away from your lips too soon."

He kissed her again, over the counter. She shivered against his wet body and twisted her fingers in his hair. Suddenly, a noise caught her attention. Someone coughed.

She pulled back and looked at the waiting customer. "How can I help you?" she asked as she straightened her hair.

"Hi, I just wanted to know if you guys have a copy of the newspaper?"

"Over there. 50 cents." She pointed to a stand in the corner, eyeing Alex as she did so. He smiled and she couldn't help but wonder what he was thinking.

"Thanks," the man said casually.

"You're welcome."

He threw fifty cents on the counter and took a paper as he left.

"Yes, I'd like to go out with you," Livy told Alex as she pulled im closer and began kissing him again.

His lips broke away from hers and he whispered, "I came in to kiss you this morning because I had a sex dream about you. Is that weird?"

She laughed, "No not at all."

He grinned. "Mmmm."

She wished she was Sam and Sean at that very moment, she knew what they were doing.
