I'll Take You Out Though I'm Hardly Worth Your Time

I wake up the next day feeling like I was gong to be sick. I groaned while standing up and then went straight to the bathroom.

“I look like shit” I muttered to myself as I look at my reflection.

My hair was all over the place and my eyes were sore because of all the crying I did. I decided to take a bath to completely clean myself up. I couldn’t believe that I look like this because of Alex. Why did I let him get through me? I wasn’t supposed to be this affected.

I finally finish and as soon as I step out, I see Jason waiting outside. I give him a confused look.

“I need to use the bathroom” he shyly answered the question on my face

“Oh, yeah, ok” I exited the bathroom and let him in

“You look better today by the way” he smiled as he entered the bathroom

“Thanks” I smile back

I quickly dress up and prepared myself for the day. I am currently waiting for Jason. It’s seven forty five and our call time was at eight.

He finally opened the door; I look at him at once.

“Sorry if I took so long” he explained while drying his hair with the towel

“That’s fine. You weren’t that long anyway” I smile at him and I cant help but stare at him. He had a nice body.

“So, let’s go?” he said, offering his hand to me. I gladly took it and we both step out the cabin

“I think you’re responsible enough to keep this” I handed him the keys

He had a shocked face “Oh, no, I don’t think I am that responsible”

He took it but instead of putting it in his pocket, he placed it under a pot somewhere near the front door.

“That way, we cant misplace it and we can go into the cabin whenever we want without having to wait for the person holding on the keys” he explained

“I may be a little irresponsible, but I think I’ve got enough brains” he joked

“Smart. I never thought of that” I complimented

“Thank you!” he said while bowing his head

I laugh and smacked his head

“Ow!” he whined as I ran down the porch and left him standing by the door

“Let’s go. We might be late” I beam at him

The smile on my face instantly disappeared when I saw the door next to our cabin open, revealing Alex and Katy.

“Oh, hey Sandra!” Katy greeted

“Hey” I mutter, avoiding the stabbing stares Alex was giving me.

“Oh, you guys are still here?” Jason asked Katy

“We were just on our way to the canteen” Katy answered

“Right” Jason nodded and glanced at me

“Are you OK? You look pale” he whispered to me

“UH, yeah sure. I-I think we should go now” I mumble

“OK. Uh, Katy, we should walk to the canteen now” Jason turned to Katy and started to lead me to the right direction

“Oh, let’s walk together!” Katy said gleefully

Great, I thought

“Uh, sure” Jason answered hesitantly.

Looked like he didn’t like Katy hanging around also
