I'll Take You Out Though I'm Hardly Worth Your Time

When we entered, I immediately go to the kitchen to get something to eat, I was hungry. Jess, on the other hand, rushed straight to my bedroom. I laughed softly at her excitement

“Hey Jess! You want to eat anything?” I yelled

“Uh, yeah, anything’s fine” I hear her say then I hear some things crashing to the floor

“Jess, be careful! I don’t want my furniture being wrecked because of your stalking” I yelled again while I read my mom’s note saying that she won’t be home until later tonight. My dad was away for now so I had the house the whole afternoon.

“Sorry!” she yelled back

I made PB&J and went upstairs right away before my room becomes wrecked

I saw Jess looking through my window again.

“Jess, he’s not even there yet” I stated

“I know I am just over excited” she smiled and grabbed the sandwich I was handing to her.

“You’re really obsessed now.” I said

“Well, at least I am closer to being normal then you are” she grinned

“And crushing on a guy that everyone likes is normal?” I asked

“Exactly my point dear. Everyone likes him; you’re like the only one who’s not interested at all”

“Whatever” I said and ate my food.

We hear a car engine and Jess immediately stood up and hid behind my window curtains

“He’s here! Oh my, he’s so hot!” she said for the hundredth time today.

I sighed and walked to my desk to look for Jack’s notebook. I saw it on the desk and put it in my bag just in case I forget tomorrow. I decided to play my guitar first, seeing that Jess’ stalking will take longer than usual.

“You’re really Good Sasha. I always wish I could play an instrument whenever I see you play your guitar,” she suddenly said, looking at me,

“Thanks!” I smiled

“You’re really talented Sash, you’re just too humble to realize it” she added and went back to looking at Alex’s window.

These are the random times wherein I felt good about being Jess’ best friend. She can be crazy and obsessed at times but she also is a good friend. She knows how to make me happy and how to compliment me on the right time. Maybe that’s why I keep up with her craziness. She’s a great friend.

“You can even afford to be friends with the popular people but you choose not to and instead are friends with me”

“Jess!” here she goes again about how pathetic she is

“What? It’s true!” she said and laughed weakly

“Aww” I walked to her and hugged her. “You know I love you and you’re my best friend forever right?”

“Yeah. I was just saying Sash!” she said and hugged me back

I let go and sat next to her.

“Don’t ever think that you’re not good enough to be my best friend because to be honest, you are.” I stated “I’d rather have you than be friends with a bunch of plastic people” I added.

“Aww, thanks for raising my confidence again Sash!” she said

“Sure”

“Okay, enough of this drama! Let’s get down to business.” She made a serious face and looked back at Alex

I just laugh. I love Jess so much. I wouldn’t trade her for anything else. She’s gold for me.
