Ordinary Day

Like A Shooting Star, He shines.

“What about your job?” Albert asked me.
I snorted, “What job?”
Albert looked surprised, “You don’t have a job, Anastasia?” He asked, looking confused.
“As of today, no. My idiot boss fired me for something that could have easily been his own fault.”
He took my hand in his, “Tell me about it.”
I could feel angry tears building up in my eyes. Why was Jasper so cruel? As a tear leaked down my cheek, I told him everything. About Jasper, how I was fired, everything.
He squeezed my hand, “I’m sorry.” He said, quietly and sorrowfully.
I wiped away another tear that had leaked out, “It’s not your fault.” I sniffed.
“That Jasper guy sounds like a real idiot. An idiot who shouldn’t be manager of anything.”
I froze.
Woah.
“Except idiot world!” I blurted out.
Albert laughed, “Yeah. He could be an amazing manager of idiot world.
“That’s exactly what I said!” I exclaimed throwing my hands in the air.
“And?”
“And? You want to know more??” I yelped, shocked. I wasn’t sure how much more I could tell him without getting really personal.
“Yeah. What else do you do besides work and school?”
I thought about it, “Nothing.”
He looked shocked, “Really.”
“Yeah.”
He stood up and held his hand out to me, “Take My Hand. You’ve gotta live while you can.”
I took his hand and he pulled me up.
I grabbed my messenger bag and he grabbed our garbage.
“Where are we going?” I cried as he pulled me out of starbucks.
He grinned, “You’ll see.”

Enjoy!

I'm writing a new story called "Teardrops on My Guitar." Yes, it's based off Taylor's Swift's song. And I'm thinking of writing a song version of White Horse... We'll see. :)
