The Pain I've Grown to Know

Edward's P.O.V.

i went to talk to bella. i just needed to know which person to choose. i mean right now allie is the best choose but bella might not see it that way. i knew in the beginning she didn't like allie but right now i need to have allie apart of my life. it was already night so i was just going to tell bella then leave or watch over allie to make sure she doesn't get into anymore trouble.

"edward" bella said

"bella i need to talk to you" i told her

"not again your leaving again aren't you?" she asked me

"not really" i told her

"well what do you want to talk about?" she asked

"well i just don't know how to say this but maybe we should try to see other people but of our own kind" i told her

"your breaking up with me?" she asked

"i think it's best if we just try to see other that know what we go threw" i told her

"how's allie?" she asked

"she's back" i said

"so now i know your leaving me to be with someone who's only half human" she said

"bella it isn't like that" i told her

"really? it seems that way" she told me

"i should go" i said

"yeah do what you always do" she said

"what am i doing?" i asked her

"breaking my heart again" she said.

i saw the tears starting to come down her cheeks. i knew i had to leave though. i went home. i knew allie would be asleep and bella was crying. i ran fast home. i didn't want nothing to go wrong.

i got home i was outside. i didn't want to be inside when the only other vampire that isn't with any was mike. well i knew he was going to be moving with his family. i wonder how their mother is going to take her kids aren't mortal and their father is really dead? the sun was starting to come up. i went inside.

"i'm surprised your here" alice said with a smile

"you already know why alice" i told her

"yeah and everyone knows already. don't worry bella won't say anything about our secret" alice told me

"is allie going to school?" i asked alice

"home alone" alice told me

"ok i'll be over there then" i said

"edward just make sure you don't play games with both of them" alice told me

"i'm not going to play any games with them" i told her

i got in my car and left. i didn't see any cars. i the drive way. i just went threw allie's window. i saw her laying in her bed. she hand the blankets on herself. she had the window locked. i knocked and she got with a blanket around her.

"why are you wearing a blanket?" i asked her

"because i'm kind of cold" she said

"well i have no idea what your wearing so that might be the reason why" i told her

she got back into her bed. i saw she was watching cartoons.

"cartoons?" i asked her

"yeah i didn't have nothing better to do" she said

"should you be in school then?" i asked her

"my records have been sent back yet plus i'm kind of tried from all the drugs" she said

i saw she was wearing a ring. it really got me wondering what she was wearing under those blankets.

what are you wearing? i asked her

what i slept in she told me

what is that? i asked her

she kept the blankets on until she was off the bed completely. i didn't expect her to be wearing that to sleep in.

"yeah i kind of slept in this because i couldn't find my other stuff yet" she told me

"i've never seen you wear something like that" i told her

"yeah i know" she said

she came back into the bed. she was under the blankets and i went under with her so she wasn't alone. we stayed in her room. i heard a knock on the door so i decided to would be best for me to see who it is. i went downstairs and saw alice here now.

"what are you doing here?" i asked her

"how's allie?" she asked

"upstairs" i told her

she ran upstairs and was in the room with allie. i knew amber might be getting here soon too. maybe i should of just stayed here last night.
