Summer Camp,Girl,Hot Vampire, Gotta Be Trouble

Today I'm going to ride a horse but not just any horse. My horse. It has to be the hottest day in history and I have to spend the entire day riding a horse. Today's gonna be fun! (sarcasm!)
I took a cold shower,yeah it's that hot, got dressed, etc,etc.

We all were headed to the cafeteria when Beth and Becky got in an argument of "Who is sexier?". It was between Mike and Edward Cullen. "Becky, Mike is hot and all but he's no vampire! Edward is hot and cold!" Beth said while getting a tray from the lunch counter.

"Mike is hot and then some. Edward might be a vampire but Mike is real!" Becky said getting a bagel. That hurt me right in the heart. Sure Edward is,dare I say it,fictional but he's real in my mind.

"Cassie, who do you think is sexier?" Beth asked exasperated. I looked at both Beth and Becky and I honestly couldn't answer that question. I could picture Edwards golden hazel eyes burning into me with a passion but then I can also see Mike's electric icy blue eyes shocking me into reality, freezing me on the spot, and making delicious shivers run along my spine. In other words there was no way I could choose.

"It's pretty even if you ask me." I said plainly picking up my usual blueberry muffin and orange juice.

"Oh, come on Cassie you have to choose!" Becky whined. I pondered the thought again and I picked...

"Mike." I said finally but I couldn't help but feel I betrayed Twilighters everywhere. Oh well they'll get over it. Although Edward is perfect in my mind Mike is perfect in reality. Can't beat reality.

Beth was mad she was defeated but she still said Edward was sexier. We ate our food and headed for the stables. Mike was there feeding the horses when we got there. The girls saddled up and started to ride and once again I was left with cowboy Mike.

"Cassie you ready to ride?" he asked pulling Chaos out of his stable.

"Is there another option?" I asked. Mike laughed his same laugh as yesterday and my frown soon turned into a smile.

"Cassie its not gonna be that bad. You might be a little sore afterward but that's all." he said with that gorgeous smirk.

"Ok, but I better not fall." I said with a smirk.

"You won't. Now come over here and saddle up your horse." he said holding up the saddle. I put the saddle on Chaos just like we practiced yesterday. I soon done and I waited for his instructions.

"Now, the hardest thing to do is to get on the horse so it's gonna take a few tries." he finally said. I watched a few westerns in my time and I'm smart enough not to get on a horse backwards. I put my foot in the foot thing and pushed myself up. I swung my leg over the saddle and I was on.

"I guess your a natural.",he smirked,"Now form is the key. Keep your back straight and your hands on the reigns. Good." he said as I did as he said.

"Now to steer right you pull the reigns right. To steer left you pull the reigns left. To stop pull the reigns back. Got it?" H e asked.

"Got it." I said practicing and Chaos turned his head.

"Now, I'm gonna get on my horse and where gonna ride on the field." he said getting on a brown horse. He started to ride out to the field and I followed doing what he taught me. He looked back at me when we were out of the stables.

"Your doing great ,now do you want to really ride?" he asked with a smirk.

"You think I'm ready?" I asked with a smile.

"Yeah, your a natural. Lets go!" he said and started to gallop...fast! I did what he did and was soon by his side. the wind blowing in my hair speed at my fingertips. It felt great. I smiled my biggest smile and looked at Mike to see that he was staring at me with a smile on his face.
We slowly came to a stop.

"How did you like it?" he asked smiling.

"It was the best! The wind the speed! Lets do it again!" I said sounding like a five year old dare devil that just rode the biggest rolarcouster.

"Then, lets go!' he said going back into a fast gallop and I followed behind smile and all. We rode until the sun was at its highest in the sky and we were really tired. We decided to let the horses graze as we took a break.

Mike's POV

She smiled a huge smile all the while we were riding. I couldn't help but stare her smile was beautiful. The sun was rising in the sky and I was getting dangerously thirsty. I knew I needed to hunt soon before it got out of hand.

We decided to take a break. I told Cassie I was going to take a quick refreshing walk in the woods. She said ok and I left to find my meal. I was not far from the forest edge when I saw a stray deer.

It noticed me as a predator and tried to run but I pounced and started to drink my full. I was to busy drinking to notice a twig snap behind me.

Original POV

Mike said he was going to take a quick walk in the woods. I didn't mind. I went to the stable's and got a bottle of water when I noticed Mike left his bottle. He must be thirsty and he couldn't have gone far. I picked up his bottled water and headed for the trail he took.

I was not that far along the trail when I spotted him. He was kneeling not to far away from a dear. I was about to call out to him when he pounced on the dear and...bit into it's neck. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. My eyes were wide with confusion and fear.

I backed away slowly but I stepped on a twig and it snapped. He didn't notice. I turned and ran with his water bottle in hand hoping he didn't see me. I ran to the stable and wrote a note saying I got sick and went back to the cabin. I ran back to the cabin only to wonder if this really was reality or fiction.
