**RYAN'S POV**
I watched silently as Jon and Pete swung their hands between them, laughing and talking quietly.
"Ryan?"
"Hm?" I turned around.
"Are you okay?" Spencer looked worried.
I nodded, still silent.
"You're sure?"
I nodded again.
"Okay, well...We're going to head back to the bus, okay?"
I nodded.
"Ry, could you say something? Please? Just stop nodding."
I sighed softly but didn't nod, or say anything.
Spencer sighed back. "Come on."
He took my hand and led me back to the bus.
"Ry-ry?"
I looked up from my book to see Brendon looking down at me. "Hm?"
"Are you okay?"
I kept my face emotionless. "Yeah."
"You sure?" He sat down, wrapping his arms around me.
I nodded, nuzzling my face into his neck, and resting my hands on his chest.
"Ry?"
"Hm?" I whispered again.
"Please tell me what's wrong."
I sighed. "Nothing's wrong, Bren. I promise. Okay?"
Brendon sighed back. "Okay." He paused. "Can I ask you something?"
"Obviously."
"What do you think about Martin?"
"Johnson?"
He nodded.
"He's a good guy. And really cute, too...He's really talented. I've got nothing bad to say about him." I frowned. "Why?"
"Cause...I was thinking of asking him out."

It gets better. I keep saying that, but this time, I mean it.
