"Where'd Ryan go?"

Brendon looked up at Spencer and shrugged silently.

"Is he okay?"

Brendon shrugged again.

"Oh, for fuck's sake, Brendon. For someone that supposedly cares for him so much, you are remarkably unresponsive."

Brendon looked up at him, shocked. "Who said I care for him as much as you think?"

"Oh, Christ, Bren. Everyone knows about you two."

"What? We aren't-"

"Jon and I know about the sex. About your little makeout sessions before the shows. About everything. We know he loves you. We know you-"

"Don't love him."

"What?!" Spencer's jaw dropped.

"Christ, Spencer, it's just sex. Not even that, it's just fucking. Nobody loves us so we settle for each other. I'm not even human."

"It's more to him-"

Brendon stood up, his face barely an inch from Spencer's. "He hasn't has feelings since he was sixteen years old."

Spencer seethed.

Brendon smirked, turning back around.

Brendon wins.
