Set in the 1950's in the Wall township of New Jersey, 18 year old Kay Fisher works late shifts at the Roadside diner. She meets a gang of guys Sid, Guinea Pig, Rumor and Looter who give the girl her own nickname Baby-Doll while she waits on them. Before she knows it she's going off with them every night after work along with her best friend Ruby doing things even Elvis wouldn't sing about.
