The Friends
Zacky and I had Math right before lunch, so it worked out I guess. "Lunch time! My favorite subject!" Zacky said as the bell rang and we stood up. I laughed a little.
"Ai, what does your name mean? It's gonna bug from now on until you tell me!!" Zacky’s question and statement made me want to laugh again.
"You have to swear you won't laugh."
"I swear on Matt's life." His answer that he sounded so confident in made me laugh again.
"It means love in Japanese.”
"What's so bad about that? I bet you are a very loving person once you get to know you."
"Not really. It doesn't fit my reputation."
"Mean chick?"
"Lots of fights back home.”
"You'll fit in great with the group." We walked down the hallway as we talked.
"Well I'll see you in French." I said when we got to our lockers.
"Where are you going?" He asked as I got my lunch out of my locker.
"I'm meeting my sister for lunch."
"Bring her with you to the spot."
"She's not like you or me. She's too nice."
"So, bring her along anyways? She's what a year younger?"
"No"
"Then what's the age difference?"
"Another little piece of information about me, Tess is my twin sister. I'll see you in French Zacky." I began walking away.
"Wait there's two of you!?" He called. I laughed and waved. I made my way towards the flagpole.
Zacky's p.o.v.
"Where's Ai going?" Matt asked walking up.
"To meet her twin sister." I answered.
"There's two of them?"
"Yup. But Ai said her sister is nothing like her."
"Wow. Call me crazy but there is something about that girl."
"That what? Drives you crazy?" Matt laughed.
Normal p.o.v
At the flagpole I waited for 5 minutes, alone. Tess finally appeared with two girls following her. I didn’t like the look of this. "Ai meet Anna and Bella. They are our new friends." Tess informed me.
"Correction, your new friends!" I corrected her sitting down.
"Have you made any new friends?" She asked
"Kinda." I answered.
"AI!" I heard a male voice yell. I turned around and looked around. I saw Matt waving for me to go over.
"No! I'll see you after I have French class!" I yelled back. He shook his head and walked towards us. Great.
"How was Math?" He asked
"It sucked. What are you trying to do?"
"I don't know. Say you should come eat lunch with the gang."
"I'm eating with my sister."
"There's a gang? You didn't tell me you knew that many people." Tess said.
"I don't"
"Well if you come eat with us, you will." Matt corrected me.
"I think I'll pass on this one."
"You didn't introduce me to your friend." Tess butted in, annoyingly.
"Oh. Matt, Tess. Tess, Matt."
"Hi" Matt only looked at her for a second.
"Hi"
"I'll meet the gang another time." I promised.
"Fine, but if you change your mind we are right over there." Matt told me
"Okay."
"I'll see you in Science."
"See ya" Matt went over to the group of people.
"So right there is this dance on Friday and I so need a date." Tess said
"As do I." Anna agreed
"I don't." Bella chirped.
"And I have this cute little dress to wear." Tess almost squealed.
"Me too."
"So do I."
"Is this all we are going to talk about?" I asked
"Duh" Tess responded.
"I'll see you after school." I told her standing up.
"Where are you going?" She asked
"To go meet the gang." At the spot I stood back for a while.
"Ai." Matt said
"Hey"
"Sit down. We don't always bite." He told me making me laugh.
"Well all except Zacky over there." One of them added.
"Everyone this is Ai. Ai that is Brian, Jimmy, Johnny, and Cam." Matt pointed to each of them as he said their names.
"Hi"

After school
"I lived!" I said closing my locker. Matt and Zacky laughed.
"What's your phone number?" Matt asked.
"Why?" I said
"Because if you are now a part of the gang, I need to know how to call you." He stated
"Gang rules." Zacky added
"What kinda gang is this?" I asked
"Don’t worry, I’m just being a shithead and trying to freak you out. As a warning though, everyone else will try to do this same thing to you. We are all shithead and assholes at times." Matt warned.
"And not too bright." Zacky chipped in causing me to laugh. I gave Matt and Zacky my number. That's when three girls came skipping down the hallway. "That one looks like you." Matt and Zacky commented.
"I swear I don't know any of those people." I lied looking away. Out front I waited.
"What are you doing?" Matt asked
"Waiting for my mom"
"No, you're coming with us." Zacky corrected.
"It's fine, my mom will freak if I'm not here."
"Tomorrow you are riding with us." Matt told me.
"Okay, since I don't have a choice in this."
"Well really us, or Barbie over there." Zacky said pointing to Tess why was skipping over.
"Okay, I promise to ride home with you guys tomorrow." I agreed.
"Good." Matt sounded happy. I laughed.
"Later" They both told me.
"Later!" I echoed. That's when my mom pulled up.
"Shot gun!" I yelled before Tess could. Matt and Zacky left.
"I see you made some friends." My mom observed.
"Yeah"
"Boys."
"There is nothing mom. I don't even like either of them."
"Why not? The tall one's cute. Do you think maybe he'll ask me to the dance if I hang around?" Tess asked from the backseat.
"I don't think he is even going. He didn't say anything about it."
"There is a dance?" My mom asked
"Friday." Tess answered all to happy.
