Scar’s POV

My cell said I had a message so I pressed speed dial number 1 and waited to hear who called. This is like the 7th hotel I’ve been in since I left. And it’s not getting any easier. I’m at Red Roof Inn. As I stood in line, waiting for a room, a great song came on so I began singing. Lie by David Cook.

“Welcome to the Red Roof Inn, what can I do for you?” the lady at the desk asks.

“Yeah, a room please?” as she typed something in on the computer, I turned; mumbling to myself. “Why the fuck isn’t it going to my voicemail?”

“Miss?” she called.

I turned, ending the call and putting the cell in my pocket. “Scarlet Kilbane.”

When I got to my room, I sat on my bed, looking at my phone. I went to the ‘recently dialed’ calls, intending to call my voicemail back… No, this can’t be… I checked the time. I was on the line for 3 minutes. The amount of time I sang. And it went to voicemail. And I got my room. Shit.

I had called speed dial number 1. It wasn’t my voicemail. It was Brian’s cell phone. And I left a message too.

Brian’s POV

I replayed the message continuously. This was great! I know where she is and she didn’t mean to tell me. She won’t run or leave because she won’t expect me to come. We’re by Red Roof Inn too!

“Guys… I know where she is.” They had me replay the message.

Scar’s POV

I stepped out of Red Roof Inn. I was too cooped up in there! I needed some fresh air! Then I can go back and sleep.

My eyes widened as I stared at the bus. Their bus. Avenged motherfucking Sevenfold.

And Brian stepped off the bus; stopping and staring at me for a minute. I wanted to jump into his arms but something told me that he hated me.

“Scar…” he said shakily. He opened his arms and I couldn’t stop my legs. I ran to him; jumping into his arms and ended up tackling him to the sidewalk. He smiled up at me, tears forming in both our eyes.

But something had changed. He wasn’t the same Brian as he was when I left. He instantly kissed me; his lips felt so good…

I heard cheering and turned to find everyone off the bus. Including Michelle. I stood, running to Jimmy, Jaz, Zacky, Matt, and Val who embraced me.

“Don’t you ever do that again!!” Val sobbed.

I did as well. “Alright.”

Before another word was spoken, Jimmy and Matt ran in the hotel, stealing my keys, and soon coming out with my beg packed.

It was such a blur and soon I was on my way to a hotel; back where I belonged. Michelle was next to Brian; I was on his other side. Were they dating now? It began to rain.
