H= Heidi N= Nick

(A young girl comes out of gas station rushing to her car and gets in car with a young boy)

Nick- Did you get it!
Heidi- yes i got it now drive
N- Are you sure its the right one?
H- Yes Nick im sure its the right one lets go
N-ok im going

(They drive off, the car pulls up to Nick's old run down apartment, they both get out and hed up stairs)(They walk in and Heidi heads straight for the bathroom)

N- Ok hurray up and take it
H- im going as fast as i can, im a little shaken up right now nick
N- im sorry i just want to know
H- me to just give me a minute

(There is silence for a few moments) (Heidi walks out of the bathroom with a pregnancy test in hand looking white as a ghost not saying a word)

N- (nervous) well what does it say
H- i dont know it takes up to three minutes to show the results
N- Heidi what if you are pregnant
H- im really scared right now and your not helping
N- im sorry what does it say

(Heidi looks down at the test for a few seconds, looking petrified)

N-Heidi!
H- im pregnant Nick , im pregnant
N- oh my god, how could this be happening
H- (crying) what are we gonna do im only sixteen
N- i dont know im not ready to be a dad, i cant deal with this right now
H- what do you mean you cant deal with this right now
N-It means i dont want a part of this or the kids life
H-(upset) Okay i really dont understand what you are saying to me right now
N- im saying im leaving and im not coming back
H- so your gonna walk out on me and this baby
N- what do you want me to do huh, im not ready to be a father
H- i no me either but stay with me and we will work together to make this work i promise
N- im sorry but i cant, please be gone when i come back

(Nick walks out of the apartment and Heidi lays back on the bed crying)
