Small Painful World

I woke up later still in bed with Nick. I looked at him with his curls all messed up and it made

me giggle a little. I then heard Mrs. Jonas knock on the door. “Sleepy heads wake up I made

chocolate pancakes” she yelled throughout the house. That second I heard all the boys

running down the stairs pushing and shoving each other. “JOE!!!” Frankie yelled with

frustration rushing to the table. By this time me and Nick were wide awake. “How are my

beautiful girls today?” he asked smiling. “We are good” I said smiling back. I could smell all

the food from across the house. I was super hungry. I watched Nick get dressed; I have to

admit it is the best part of my day. “We better hurry and get out there before Joe and Kevin eat

all the pancakes” he said rushing around. I got up and stopped him before he reached the

door. I gave him a kiss. “I love you” he said giving me a kiss in return. He took my hand and we

walked out to breakfast. The first thing we noticed was Joe stuffing his face, it was all over

him. “Awww looks the Lovebugs are awake” he said his mouth full of food. Kevin punched

him in the arm and looked over at me and winked. I couldn’t help but laugh. Once I sat

down I started to feel a little pain. I didn’t think anything of it because I had been feeling

strange feeling all the time lately. As the day went on it got worse. I think Nick could tell I

was in pain. “Babe you okay?” he asked rubbing my shoulder. I just nodded, I didn’t want to

make a big deal like before.We later went to go find a crib. It took hours to one the Mrs.

Jonas approved safe in her mind. She paid for the whole thing. I really don’t know what I

would do without her. Mrs. Jonas and Nick were my one and only support system.

Whenever I needed them they were there before I can even blink. I had never felt to loved

and safe by the people around me before. It was the best feeling in the world. Later on that

night the pain was getting unbearable. I was to the point of tears. I didn’t want Nick to see I

was in pain so I walked into the bathroom to wait it out. He was out in the bedroom

watching TV. A couple minutes later I couldn’t take the pain anymore and I was getting

scared. I walked out to the bedroom. “Nick……….” He turned his head to look at me.

“What’s wrong?” he asked surprised to see tears running down my face. “I think its

time”!!!!!!!!!!!!
