Recalling These Memories

003

“Velie, wake up.”

“WAKE UP!” someone shouted at me. I opened my eyes to see Pandora looking at me with everyone else.

“Man you took forever to wake up. You must have been tired,” Elysia said. I just nodded my head and stood up.

“Where are we going?” I questioned after noticing the bus was moving.

“We’re heading to Arizona; we’ll be in Phoenix by the evening. Velie how about you go to the bathroom and get changed, honey,” Beverly called back.

“Yeah, yeah I will,” I answered while walking to the bathroom. I quickly put on a black and red mini skirt and a black tank top then I exited. I went to my bunk and took out a book to read for the remainder of the trip. I felt the bus stop and looked out from behind my curtain. The doors to the bus opened and Tokio Hotel’s manager, David, stepped on.

“What’s he doing here?” I asked.

“Tokio Hotel’s here too, duh,” Pandora rolled her eyes.

“Actually I’m here to talk to Seth about something,” David replied. Seth called him to the back room and closed the door behind them.

“That was weird.”

“Yeah…” Kai agreed.

After about a half hour, David left the bus and went back to Tokio Hotel’s. Beverly started the engine back up and got back on the road.

“Seth what’s after Phoenix?” I asked. He didn’t bother looking up from the screen of his laptop to answer me.

“Phoenix’s our last tour date Velie,” he answered. Pandora and Elysia giggled quietly at me.

“I knew that…”

Within the next hour, we arrived at a fast food restaurant and all of us got off. When we entered, a few shouts in German got our attention. Seth didn’t seem fazed as he just walked over to seat with them. I followed along and took the seat across from Pandora at the makeshift table they had set up from a few pushed together.

“Why are you guys here?” I asked them.

“They have a show in Phoenix too Velie,” Seth told me.

“Oh… that makes sense,” I said.

“This is why she has a bed time, which we should enforce more often,” Kai groaned.

“No! I do not,” I denied. Everyone in my band looked at me and scoffed.

“Yeah, you do,” Severin sighed.

“Eleven o’clock,” Pandora declared.

“Shut up.”

David and Tokio Hotel laughed in my expense.

“It’s okay, I’m sure it is for a good reason,” Tom smirked. You know, I really don’t like that boy.
