Everyone knows
*The next day at school*
Taylor-"Hey guys."
Nick-"Hey, we need to talk to you in private."
Taylor-"Um, okay?"
Demi-"Well, we sort of saw you yesterday."
Taylor-"Duh, during school, after school..."
Selena-"No. We mean, we saw you after you ran off."
Taylor-"W-What did you guys see?"
Nick-"Who was she? Was she your mom or your aunt or-"
Taylor-"What... I can't believe you guys followed me!"
Joe-"Taylor, who was she?"
Taylor-"I... I"
Selena-"C'mon."
Taylor-"You can't tell anybody, no matter what the consequences are."
Everybody-"Okay."
She takes in a deep breath.
Taylor-"She is my... my..... foster mom..."
Demi-"What?!"
Selena-"You're kidding!"
Taylor-"Guys, shut up!"
Joe-"Well, I'm sure your parents had a good reason to give you up."
Taylor-"A good reason? They didn't want me! My parents didn't want me! They didn't care what happened to me!"
Selena-"Why?"
Taylor-"I don't know."
She starts crying, which makes everybody else start tearing a bit.
Nick-"How old have you been there?"
Taylor-"Practically my whole life. I was only 2 months old when I went there."
Joe-"Why does she hurt you?"
Taylor-"I don't know. She hates me for some reason. She just, hurts me."
Demi-"Why can't you call the police?"
Taylor-"NO! Don't even think about that. Cause when she gets out of jail, she will kill me. It won't matter if she goes to prison for life or is put to the death sentence. She will hunt me down and kill me."
Selena-"She would really do that to you?"
Taylor-"Without a doubt. She wants to kill me now but she doesn't think it's worth it."
Selena-"What are you gonna do?"
Taylor-"I don't think I... where's Joe?"
Nick-"What? Oh, I don't know."
Taylor-"I think I have an idea where he is. Selena, I've gotta go out of school grounds to get him."
Selena-"Get who?"
Taylor-"JOE!"
Selena-"Who?"
Taylor-"Oh, shut up."
Selena-"Yeah, I'll cover for you."
Taylor-"Thanks, I owe you."
She runs off.
She goes straight to the forest and looks around.
Taylor-"Joe? Joe? J... There you are."
Joe is sitting in a tree looking upset.
Joe-"What are you doing here?"
Taylor-"Looking for you."
She climbs up the tree and joins him. When she looks at his face, she realizes that something is wrong.
Taylor-"What's wrong?"
Joe-"I just can't believe that you're a... a..."
Taylor-"Foster child?"
Joe-"Yeah, that. And when I saw you being... um...."
Taylor-"Abused?"
Joe-"Yeah..."
He starts tearing.
Joe-"I just couldn't stand it. I couldn't watch you be hurt like that. I could hardly sleep that night. At that moment when I saw you, I wanted to jump through that window and save you."
Taylor-"Why do you care that much?"
Joe-"Because I love you damn it!"
