*At school*

Ms.Manwell-"Miss Gomez, where is Miss. Swift and Mr. Jonas?"
Selena-"Um.... well...."
Ms.Manwell-"Tell me. I saw you three talking this morning."
Selena-"Um, well... I don't know where Joe is but Taylor left because......... she had to have her head checked for lice!"

Selena thinks: What the heck?

Ms.Manwell-"Very well then. Joe will be marked for skipping and Taylor is excused. When you see Mr. Jonas, tell him he must scrub my classroom for punishment."
Selena-"Yes Ma'am."

*With Joe & Taylor*

Taylor-"Wha..."
Joe-"I'm sorry if I..."
Taylor-"If you nothing. I'm... I'm.... Joe, do you really love me?"
Joe-"Of course I do."
Taylor-"I can't believe this."
Joe-"Believe what?"
Taylor-"That you love me."
Joe-"Why's that so hard to believe?"
Taylor-"Because I love you."
Joe-"You do?"
Taylor-"Yes, I love you so much."

They are quiet for a moment.

Taylor-"So..."
Joe-"So..."

*At school*

The bell rings.

Ms.Manwell-"Miss Gomez, can I see you for a moment?"
Selena-"Sure."
Ms.Manwell-"I have noticed that your grades have been slipping quite a bit."
Selena-"And your point is?"
Ms.Manwell-"You are to stay after school for tutoring until your grades go back up. Go to Ms.Salls's room when you finish your work. Set your papers on her desk."
Selena-"Ugh. Fine."

*With Joe & Taylor*

They both lean in and... KISS! Well, more like make out for a few minutes. Taylor finally pulls away. Joe leans in to kiss Taylor again but.... he falls off the tree.

Taylor-"Joe?! Are you okay?"
Joe-"Huh..."

Taylor climbs down as quickly as possible. She kneels down next to him and shakes him.

Taylor-"Joe... Joe... JOE!!!"
Joe-"I'm fine! I'm just a little dizzy."

She sits him upright.

Taylor-"Will this help?"

She kisses him. Then, after a moment or two, she pulls away.

Joe-"I think I'm gonna be hurt for a while.

Taylor leans in to kiss him, but stops when she's an inch away from his face.

Taylor-"I guess I can just leave you here then."
Joe-"Oh come on."

He stands up.

Taylor-"You'll have to earn it."
Joe-"Fine, I'll start now."

He picks her up bridal style and carries her like that to school. (AN:// They are right next to the school.)

*At school*

Lunch period.

Joe-"Hey guys."
Nick-"Where have you been?"
Joe-"Oh, I've been with Taylor."
Demi-"We know that. But WHERE have you been?"
Taylor-"Oh, out of school somewhere."
Selena-"Doing what?"

Joe & Taylor look at each other quickly.

Taylor-"Nothing!"
Selena-"Whatever. Oh, Joe? You have to clean Ms.Manwell's room today."
Joe-"What?!"
Taylor-"I told you to cover."
Selena-"Yeah, for you."
Taylor-"What did you tell her?"
Selena-"That you had to have your head checked for lice."
Taylor-"You're an idiot."

Ms.Manwell walks by.

Taylor-"I can't believe that Ms.Manwell thought I was getting my head checked. I ditched school with Joe!"
Ms.Manwell-"Is that so. I expected more of you Miss Swift. You are both to clean my classroom today after school."
Joe & Taylor-"Yes Ma'am."
Ms.Manwell-"Good."

She walks away.

Taylor-"Ugh! This is so not fair!"
Selena-"Don't feel bad. I have to stay after school for tudoring... ugh!"
