Is this goodbye?
*At school*
Nick-"Ashley?!"
Ashley-"Yes?"
Joe-"I thought you were in jail. What, did you break out?"
Ashley-"No. My daddy got me and Miley off the hook."
Taylor-"How could you even dare to talk to me. Look at what you did!"
Ashley-"Oh, boo-hoo. Stop acting like the spoiled little brat you are. You don't get everything you want"
Taylor-"You think I get everything I want? Well, you're wrong"
Taylor walks away.
Joe-"You don't know anything, Ashley. So if I were you, I would shut up. Taylor, wait up!"
He runs after her.
Taylor-"Just go away, Joe"
Joe-"It's okay. Don't listen to her."
Taylor-"It just... It hurts."
Joe-"I know."
He hugs her.
Taylor-"But you don't. You don't know."
The bell rings.
Joe-"C'mon, let's go to class."
*After school*
Taylor-"I hate this! I have to go home!"
Joe-"Don't you have to be home in, like, 5 minutes?"
Taylor-"Yeah. I'll never make it, though"
Joe-"C'mon, I'll run with you."
Taylor-"You can't. She might see you."
Joe-"Oh... right."
Taylor-"I guess I'll run. I might make it."
She gives him a quick kiss on the cheek and runs off.
*At Taylor's 'house'*
Taylor-"I'm home!"
Ms.B-"So, who's your friends?"
Taylor-"What?"
Ms.B-"Don't play stupid. I was there at the hospital. There were some kids there. What did I say about having friends?"
Taylor doesn't say anything.
Ms.B-"Well!"
She thinks for a minute.
Taylor-"They were just kids from school. Lots of people heard what happened to me. They were there visiting somebody else and they stopped by."
Ms.B-"Are you sure?"
Taylor-"I'm positive."
Ms.B-"Fine. I'll let you off the hook... for now. But remember, if you're lying to me, I'll find out. I find out about everything."
Taylor-"Yes, ma'am."
Ms.B-"Go to your room!"
She silently walks to her 'room'.
*At school the next day.*
Selena-"Hey, Tay!"
Taylor-"H-Hi"
She looks at her. Taylor is shaking a little bit, and she keeps on looking around and biting her nails.
Nick-"What's wrong, Taylor?"
Taylor-"What? Oh, nothing."
Demi-"Taylor, something's wrong. You can't stop shaking!"
Taylor-"Nothing... nothing's wrong"
Joe-"Taylor, we know something's wrong. Just tell us."
Taylor-"But what about Austin? He doesn't know."
Austin-"Yeah, I do. Demi told me."
Taylor-"DEMI!"
Demi-"What? He gave me that cute little face he has. I couldn't resist."
Taylor-"Well, that just adds to my problem."
Nick-"Which is...?"
Taylor-"Well, Ms.Bianca caught me talking to you guys at the hospital. If she finds out that you guys are actually my friends, I'm dead... literally."
Joe-"It's all my fault."
Taylor-"No, it isn't"
Joe-"Yeah, it is."
Taylor-"How is it your fault?"
Joe-" I let her take you. I should have been down there."
Selena-"Joe, don't say that. It's not true."
Taylor-"Yeah."
Joe-"But it is."
Taylor-"Joe, stop it! I should have known not to make friends. It's nobody's fault but mine."
Joe-"Well, then I guess this is it."
Nick-"Ashley?!"
Ashley-"Yes?"
