Gil Grissom considered himself the happiest man alive.
He had a job that he loved and he was well-respected by everyone he knew.
But most of all, he had Sara Sidle.
She was the one who put the smile on his face, the bounce in his step, and the ability to love in his heart.
So when Sara leaves Las Vegas without any notice, Gil thinks he needs to learn how to deal with it, when he really just needs to learn to let go.
