Just A Misunderstanding

I parked my hummer in the hanger, locking it and putting the keys in my pocket. I went up to a waiting Lt. Revell, saluting and walking with him onto the plane.

"That was a short stop at home." He commented sitting next to me.

"Yeah, well wouldn’t you make it a short trip when you walk in to your wife and best friend fucking in your bed." I sighed.

"Ooh, that sucks...I'm sorry. But you didn’t sit and talk to her about it?"

"Okay, that wouldn’t be a sit and talk; it would be a yell and yell."

"Yeah, that’s why I got out of it as fast as possible. Life's a lot better when you have the guys to order around. Less things to worry about. "

"Yeah, but I can't do that to her...not with three kids at home..."

"I did it. C'mon you shouldn’t be a softie after being here with Me." he chuckled.

"Yeah, I still care about my family...but it pisses me off that she would do that when she knew I was on my way home!"

"Okay, relax." He said, resting a hand on my shoulder. "This ride will help you relax, and maybe you will want to go home. If not, there's always room for you out there."
