The Truth Revealed

Carlos POV:

"Why don't you cry when I'm around?"

"You know better than anyone that I don't show my emotions especially in public"

"If you keep It in your gonna crack one day and maybe have another anxiety attack"

"Point"

Why does she have to be so damn stubborn all the time? I know she suffers, she should know by now that I love her and would do anything for her. I've experienced the same pain that she has.

I sighed then said "I know that you suffer baby"

"So"

"I hear you at night, I know that you cry yourself to sleep sometimes"

I looked at her and her eyes were glassy. She was obviously holding back tears.Why doesn't she let me comfort her? Why does she always put on a brave face? She's human and humans have feelings.

"Why don't you let me comfort you?"

"I don't need it"

"Xiomara don't lie to me, I know that same pain that you feel"

"I know that you do"

"I love you and would do anything for you"

She mumbled something, I didn't catch what she said. What did she say I asked myself.

"What?"

She mumbled again but this time a little louder

"What?"

"You don't love me dammit so stop saying that you do!" She yelled

"How can you ever doubt that I love you, I tell you everyday, and show you in every possible way that I can. Don't I?

"Yeah"

"So why are you questioning my love?"

"I'm just tired of people that are close to me telling me that they love me. Then they cast me aside and I get hurt."

"I'm not like anyone else I love you with all my heart. I will always do everything In my power to make sure that you are the happiest women on this planet. You are my princess and my only love." I said smiling

"You know what I've been through my parents have never really loved me. Everyone in my family acts as if I don't exist. I've lost so many people in my life. I've never truly felt like I've been loved."

She was crying, I was so shocked to see her cry. She had her head in her hands and was crying silently with a sniffle here and there. I got up from my chair that was next to her bed. Then sat down to on the bed.

I put my hands on the sides of her face lifted her head up put my thumbs under her eyes and wiped her tears away. Then I moved a strand of her hair out of the way.

"I love you, my parents love you. So don't ever feel like you can't tell me anything or feel like you have to hide anything." I said while stroking her hair

"Carlos I'm sorry"

"There's nothing to be sorry for"

I pulled her into a hug. She started to cry again. I held her as close as possible why rubbing her back. Dame I hate to see her cry. It breaks my heart that she's suffered so much.

I heard someone clear there throat I looked up and It was my mom with Elena, David, and John. Elena had Xiomara's bag and David had mine.

"Are you ok Xiomara" Maria asked

"Yeah" she answered

"Have you been crying?" Maria asked with a worried tone

"I'm ok"

"If you say so"

"Thank you Maria" Xiomara said

"Thanks mom"

"Your both welcomed"

"We're so glad that your ok" Elena said speaking for everyone

"Are you being released tomorrow?" David asked

"Yeah"

"Great" he said smiling

"Xiomara want to have a girls day when your released?" Maria asked

"Your more than welcomed to come too Elena" Maria said

"I'll take you up on that" Elena responded

"Your gonna leave me alone" I asked Xiomara

"You'll live" she said while smiling

"Your actually gonna leave me alone, do you want me to die?"

"One days not gonna kill you"

"I love you too much " I said then pecked her on the lips quickly before she decided to hit me.
She can be so violent at time. I mean dame she has the skills. Well we both do, we're both black belts but I would never hit her back.

"Awwwwww" I heard my mom, Elena, John, and David say simultaneously

I smiled, then I looked down at Xiomara to see her smiling too

"Look at my babies" I head my mom say

"Mom" I whined still smiling

"Love you too baby" my mom said

Elena John, David, and my mom all came to hug Xiomara. They stayed for about and hour talking all about random things like music t.v. and discussing what they were gonna do tomorrow.

Then they all got and up hugged Xiomara and me and then promising to come tomorrow when she was released

"Bye, have a good night you two" I heard my mom say

"Bye" Xiomara and I said simultaneously

By the time they left it was 8:00pm

"I'm gonna take a shower" Xiomara said while taking her bag with her to the bathroom

She came out 15 minutes later with her hair up pajama pants and a tank top

"Your turn"

I walked behind her put my arms around her and kissed her on the neck. Grabbed my bag then walked to the bathroom.

I came out 10 minutes later to see that it was 8:30pm and that Xiomara was watching
"Baby Mama"

I put my bag down next to the bed laid down on the bed next to her. Put my arm around her waist then pulled her close. She put her head on my shoulder and snuggled closer.

"I love you" I said

"I love you too" She said holding back a smile
