Xiomara POV:

“Baby” I said

“Yeah” Carlos replied

“What your parents get for your birthday again?”

“Black Ferrari, why”

“Cause I remember when I was 12 we used to talk about getting the same car but In different colors”

“Yeah, I remember now”

“I did ask my parents for a red Ferrari too”

You’ll get it”

“How do you know?”

"They owe you”

“That they do”

“How you want it?”

“Red Ferrari, black interior, and silver lining. On the out side I want black and silver paint job”

“You told them that too?”

“Yup and even should them what exact model I want”

“Trust me your gonna get it”

“How you know?”

“I just know these things”

“That’s not a straight answer”

“That’s for me to know and for you to find out”

I shrugged my shoulders and started to watch the movie

When we walked off the jet, walked through the airport and into the limo

*Carlo's House*

“Mami” Carlos said

“Mijo” Lydia said as she walked down the hall

“Hi” Lydia said as if she hasn’t seen me in years

“Hi” I said and hugged her then she went and said "hi" to Carlos and Reyna

Every one said "hi" back then we walked in to the kitchen were we all had ice tea then went along to do our own thing

“Mara” Lydia said when Reyna went to the bathroom

“Yeah” I said

“William and I would like to talk to you later”

“Okay how’s in an hour?”

“Perfect, he should be getting back soon”

“Were he go?”

“To get us lunch”

“Okay”

I went upstairs and watched t.v. with Carlos for a while in our room

* Hour later*

“Mara?” Lydia said into the intercom

“Yeah” I responded

“Can you meet us in the family room?”

“Yeah”

“Great” I muttered to myself

“Aw don’t be grumpy it’s just my parents” Carlos said

“I know” I said

Carlos kissed me on the lips then went and sat back down on the bed

I took the elevator to the 2nd floor

I walked out the elevator down the hall and took a left

Lydia and William sat in front of me

“We have two things to talk to you about” William said

“Even though it doesn’t matter to us we want to know what happened with your parents” Lydia said

Once she said that I felt the tears fall

“Mara, no” William and Lydia said simultaneously

“Please stop” Lydia said

I sniffed and then William pulled me into hug

“It’s okay”

“You okay now?’Lydia asked

I took a deep breath then said “Yeah”

“You don’t have to tell us” William said

“Yeah, we understand” Lydia said

“No, it’s okay” I said

“You sure” Lydia said

“Yeah” I said reassuring myself more than anyone else

This was one of the times were you try to tell your self that something doesn’t bother you but you know that It does. You just don’t want to admit it to yourself cause you know that it will bring all the pain back, and that’s something that you don’t want.

“It was cause my dad, I mean father did something that I can’t forgive him for”

“What he do” Lydia said while placing a hand on my shoulder

“He assaulted me”

“He what?”

“He beat me shit less more times then I can count”

“I don’t believe this” William said while rubbing his hand through his hair

I felt the tears starting to fall again

“I knew that he had anger issues but I thought that he had worked them out”

“How come you never said anything?” Lydia asked

“I don’t know” I whispered

“We have always been here for you”

“I know”

“I wished that you would’ve said some thing to us earlier”

“I do too”

“Do you still have marks”

“Yeah”

“Would you mind showing us?”

“No” I stood up turned around and lifted my shirt up”

“My god!” William said

Lydia gasped and put her hand over her mouth

I pulled my shirt back down and there was silence for a minute

“How...how long have you had them” Lydia was the first to speak

“Almost 2 years” I whispered

“Mara I can’t stay quiet” William said gripping the table

“No, William please don’t say anything”

“I can’t let him get away with this”

“Please William” I said feeling the tears fall

“Please!” I said feeling more tears fall

William looked at me with sad eyes and sighed

“Fine I wont tell the authorities but I will give him what he deserves”

“Just don’t kill him”

“He deserves to die but I won’t kill him”
