I Need To Find My Way Back To The Start

It all started with a simple summer tour, also known as the Soundtrack of Your Summer tour, featuring Boys Like Girls, Good Charlotte, Metro Station, and most importantly, The Maine.

Times were good. Times were great. Moments were hard. Moments were bad.

It all started when I was invited to spend my summer on this tour with my brother, the bassist, the guitar player, Jared, the second guitarist, Kennedy ,the drummer, Pat, and of course, the lead singer, John.

It all started when I fell in love with the drummer and the lead singer all at once.

This story is a continuation of my infatuation of both Patrick Kirch, my now boyfriend, and John O’Callaghan…

Hello. My name is Cara Marie Nickelsen. I’m finally about to be a senior in high school, and I’m in love with two different guys in one single band. My story continues on my 18th birthday, with me still not knowing what I want to do in my life.

And let the games begin…

{Disclaimer: To my extreme dismay, I do not own the band The Maine or any of the cute members, nor do I own the lovely lyrics that could possibly pop up here. I also do not own other bands and band members that may show up within this sequel. I do, however, own Cara Nickelsen, the main character of this sequel, along with some other characters. Some events within this story are as close to accurate as I can manage. And most importantly, I own this entire original plot and storyline of both the prequel and sequel. Do not steal anything.}

  9. “Stop sending dirty texts back and forth!”
  10. “It’s practically soft core porn.”
  11. “That boy definitely has a thing for you.”
  12. “John O’Callaghan’s rather unpredictable.”
  13. “His smile left no room for frowns.”
  14. “Why couldn’t I be like everyone else?”
  15. “I bet everyone thinks I’m on drugs now!”
  16. “Because that’s what Garrett was—a drama queen.”
  17. “It’s called hormones, not love.”
  18. “I want to quit school...”
  19. “Is it really worth dropping out of high school?”
  20. “We can be like, one big Maine family with you!”
  21. “They were coming home.”
  22. “No PDA’s!”
  23. “We’ve all been in love before, Cara.”
  24. “But what if they don’t like me?”
  25. "Hm... Wrong number?"
  26. “I try not to think about you.”
  27. “Who're you texting? After all you have no friends
  28. “Shall we sing together on the way to Pat’s?”
  29. “Please don’t be mean or violent towards me.”
  30. “Oh, I’m here with The Maine.”
  31. “For now, I was on my own.”
  32. “Anyway bottom line is, I’m gonna kick Pat’s ass.”
  33. “You know by now I don’t care about cooties.”
  34. “Another thing that proved I was stupid.”
  35. “The band comes first, not my drama.”
  36. “Good. A nice wooden stick for Christmas.”
  37. “I have the sweetest brother in world, right?”
  38. “Well that’s just pure poppycock!”
  39. “Who has cinnamon buns?”

  44. “I call that a stroke of luck counted towards me.”
  45. “And so you finally gave in.”
  46. “But please don’t hit the customers, Cam.”
  47. “Why, hello there, Merch Princess!”
  48. "I just knew that it hurt."
  49. “And I’d be able to live on. Hopefully.”
  50. “You’re right there with me.”
  51. “And now I was human again.”
