Life Guard

Thank you, muscle cramps

And as she and Tom slowly walked, I felt a strong urge to kick Tom.

I knew it just wasn’t right to do that, Tom had done nothing wrong and the girl wasn’t my girlfriend, but I couldn’t help feel a little jealous at the sight of them walking together.

They looked like a perfect couple, which made me even more jealous.

As she approached, I couldn’t help but blush lightly.

“Here’s your lifesaver, Bill.” Tom smirked at me as he noticed that I was blushing. “I gotta leave you two lovers alone.”

I grinned, thanking him mentally.

She was very beautiful. Her eyes were so alluring and captivating I couldn’t help but get lost into them.

After staring at her I realized that I had to take this opportunity to actually start a conversation with her.

“Erm… Thanks a lot for savin’ me out there.” I said lamely.

“You’re welcome, but why did you drown?”

Damn it. How can I actually tell her it’s because I had cramps?

“Well, erm, cramps.”

“Cramps?”

“Yeah. Actually my legs still have muscle cramps ‘till now.” I was hideous when it came to explaining things.

She skidded closer and closer to me and said “Stretch your legs.”

She must have thought I was a complete and utter retard when I continued to stare at her.

She moved closer. And closer.

Slowly leaning to me…

And then lifted my chin without hesitation.

I blushed, very ready to kiss her.

And then…

She carefully touched my knee.

Still caressing my face…

Then made me stretch my legs.

Damn it! That was so close! So close!

But the muscle cramps were certainly worth it. Drowning was worth it. It seriously was.
