Basket Case Love

Billie Joe arrived at the hospital and was sent to a waiting area as they took Gerard away.

I hope he's ok, he thought. Two people came bursting thru the door. One was Gerard's mom and teh other was a boy with Harry Potter like glasses. Billie Joe assumed it was Mikey.

"Billie Joe, you're here?" Gerard's mom asked.

"Yeah. They asked me to come along since they couldn't reach anyone else."

"Is he OK?" Mikey asked.

"His jaw is broken, that's all I know," Billie Joe said.

"OK."

"OK you can go see him," A nurse said, tapping Billie Joe's shoulder.

"Great." Mikey, Gerard's mom followed BIllie Joe.

"Gerard?" Billie Joe whispered. He saw Gerard in a bed, with some stitches around his mouth and a IV.

"He is so going to flip when he wakes up," Mikey muttered.

"Why?"

"He hates needles more than anything in the world."

"OK."

Suddenly a raspy voice called out.

"Mikey?" It gasped.

"Gee! You're OK!"

"Ow, my mouth hurts like crazy."

"Well, you broke your jaw bone." Billie Joe said.

"I did WHAT?!" He gasped.

"Yeah, I found you in the bathroom all beat up and your jaw was broken."

They had to reconstruct your jaw so that's why you have stitches."

"OK. It still hurts tho."
