Billie Joe Finds Out
"Gerard, who did this to you?" Billie Joe asked.
"It...it was...E...Elliot Myers..."
"The guy who is the starter for football?" Mikey asked.
Gerard nodded.
"He is so dead!" Billie Joe exclaimed.
"I don't want him beating you up too, Billie Joe."
"He won't, I promise," Billie Joe said grinning. "I'm going to tell the principal and Elliot is so outta there!"
Gerard tried his hardest to smile and was unsuccesful becasue of his stitches.
"Hey, Gee, don't wear yourself out, OK?" Mikey said.
"OK..." He winced.
"Can you get a nurse, I need my morphine refilled."
Mikey walked off to find a nurse and Gerard's mom and Billie Joe stayed.
"Gerard? How long has this kid been beating you up?" Billie Joe asked.
"Since 6th grade."
"Oh."
"Get some rest or something OK?"
"Got it.."
