It was weird that Emma no longer came to anything outside of the sermons at church. She used to, but something changed that summer. When Matt and Emma grew up together she was loud and happy. Lately she got quieter and quieter until she didn’t speak anymore. She would comment, but when Kate was around she didn’t say a word and Matt was worried. But he refused to tell anyone that he cared. What will happen when the Jonases come to town?
