Trying to Stay Alive
Mom is changing
I got home and snuck into my room. I laid down and then a few minutes later my mom ran in the room and locked the door.
"Hey Karla"
"Hi mom whats wrong"
"Um your father is going crazy and he's trying to kill me and he wants to kill you for not being here last night"
"But I was here" I lied
"No you weren't and we both know that"
"Oh really"
"Yea were not stupid and plus your father went on a rampage last night and he came in here looking for you and you weren't in here"
"Oh wow"
"Yea next time at least tell me and I'll make sure he stays away from your room"
"Thanks mom"
Then there was pounding on the door.
"Sally let me in there she doesnt deserve to live" My dad yelled
"She deserves to live just as much as anyone else does" she yelled. Why does she have a different heart. Before she used to help him hurt me now she doesnt want to hurt me anymore and she doesnt want him hurting me anymore. Maybe she realized what they are doing to me. Maybe she doesnt want to be that type of parent anymore. Maybe we can go back to how we used to be before the fighting and the yelling. But I know we could never fulling go back to that because of my father.
