Lonely Whispers and Silent Cries.
Chapter 2
April 16, 2001 6:45 a.m
I woke up a little before my scheduled hour.
Looking over to the bed on my left I saw the figure still sleep.
I shook my head when I walked towards the bathroom in my room.
Jumping in the shower, I stood there thinking. Especially since my freedom from this place isn’t far away.
I came outside of the bathroom, and saw her sitting in her bed, which was already made.
“Um hi,” I said standing there in a towel around my waist.
She didn’t say anything except for nodding. Well I’m guessing she nodded, her face was covered by her hood.
I grabbed some clothes from my drawers and took them back to the bathroom.
Once, outside of the bathroom, I noticed my bed was made too.
“Did you do that?” I asked her.
She nodded her head a little harder this time.
I was about to ask another question when she dived into her bags on the floor.
She pulled out a dry erase board with a marker and scribbled some words on it.
I read the board.
“I don’t speak anymore; I use the dry erase board.” It said.
I looked at her puzzled.
“Why,” I asked.
She scribbled again and turned it towards me.
“Because something awful happened,” It said.
I wanted so much to press it and find more, but I heard the bells ringing.
Signaling that breakfast was about to start.
