Just For The Rush

"Veda, i have my hands busy with Daniella, will you check for monsters under Marky's bed?" Danka asked as she tucked our sister into bed, pulling the sheet extra tight around her.

"There are no monsters," I said pulling pulling three year old Marky into my lap and squeezing him tightly. He giggled his innocent toddler laugh and squirmed until i put him down.

I heard Danka laugh from the other room and whisper to herself: "your only safe until your closet door creeks."

Fat bastard, i thought before tucking Marky in and retiring to my own bed.
