Promise Not to Break My Little Heart or Leave Me All Alone

“So, where are we going now?” I ask him as he drove

“Hmm, how about some food?”

“Okay, I am quite hungry anyway”

“Where do you want to eat? My treat” he smiled without taking his eyes off the road.

“Anywhere. You choose since you’re paying”

“Okay, do you want anything expensive?”

“No! Of course not! You can just take me to McDonalds” I exclaimed.

I don’t want him spending so much over me.

“McDonalds it is. Thanks for the suggestion” he smirked

What the heck. He freakin tricked it out of me. I roll my eyes on him

“Aww, don’t be like that. I knew that you wouldn’t want to eat anywhere fancy but I just wanted you to choose where you wanted to eat”

“You still tricked me” I accused

He looked away from the road and pouted

“Don’t take your eyes off the road. We might crash on something” I told him

“Not until you give me a smile”

“Am not” I said shaking my head

He really didn’t look back to the road. What the hell? Does he want both of us to die?

I widened my eyes to him

“Hello? Do you want to get into an accident?” I asked with a scared voice

“I told you the only thing that can make me do that” he smirked, while he drove

“Ryan Ross! I’ll kill you!” I yell at him

“Oh, come on Tash, just one little smile?” he begged as he pouted yet again

“You’re impossible Ryan” I tell him as I felt my lips show a weak smile. He looked like a child begging for candy

“Yeah! You smiled!” he said happily as he averted his eyes back to the road

“Thank god. I am too young too die” I mutter under my breath

“I wont do anything to hurt you, more to kill you” he scoffed

“You were so close to crashing” I pointed out

“No I wasn’t” he grinned

“Whatever. I am not having this dumb conversation with a childish man like you” I say to him

“I am most definitely am not childish!” he said playfully

“Oh, Mr. Ross, yes you are” I said back

“That hurts coming from you. When Brendon tells me that, I don’t care but when you say it, it just wounds me right here” he said, touching his chest

“Do I have that much effect on you?” I ask humorously

“Of course! I always want to be on your good side” he smiled genuinely

I couldn’t say anything. I just smiled. He really knows how to charm a girl and he is doing it perfectly to me. Just a few days ago, I was fuming mad and unbelievingly miserable because of him but now that he’s here again, all I can feel is indisputable happiness.
