We drove through McDonalds and ate in the car.

“So, what happened to you while I was gone?” he asked as he ate his fries

“Nothing much. See, my life is quite boring.” I mutter

“Boring is nice as well you know. It gives a different view compared to the ordinary lively and spontaneous life some people have”

“Well, there’s nothing much to tell except I started college again and now, I am with you. That’s honestly the only thing that happened to me” I said shyly

“Really? I am the only thing that happened to you? That’s really good to hear.” He said happily

“You’re strange. Usually people would find it really lame to hear that nothing happens to me”

“What can I say? I am different from all of them”

“Yeah you are. Or else you wouldn’t be hanging out with me now”

“Hey, come on, what’s with your low self esteem? You are an amazing girl Tash. You just don’t see it” He smiled

“Thanks for the support” I say as I slurp my coke “How about you? What’s been happening to you?” I ask

“Well, the band finished the record already so we are currently having a short break while waiting for the record company to prompt the start of recording. Recording is quite fast anyway”

“Oh. That’s nice. I am sure the album will turn out great. I have actually listened to some of your songs. Actually I only listened to one and I really liked it” I complimented

“Oh really? What song could that be?” he asked

“Uhh, actually I don’t really remember the title, I just know it when I hear it” I said shyly

“Oh! Really? That’s actually the first time I ever heard that answer. Usually fans would dictate every song title to us” he chuckled

“I wasn’t really a big fan. Me not knowing about you being famous is a proof to that” I mutter

“I like you that way. It makes me act more like myself around you. You treat me like an ordinary person. Maybe that’s why when I saw that you didn’t know me; I took the chance and befriended you straight away. You treated me like any other person you know. That’s what I like most about you.”

“Oh, was that the time when you spilled coke over my shirt?” I ask

“Yeah. Usually fans would all be like, “Oh My God, RYAN ROSS, is that you?”” he said with a fake girl voice

I giggle on how gay he was acting

“But you, you didn’t even know my name. I was stunned at first but I took it as a chance to have a normal friend. Someone who would hang out with me for just me and not because I am in a band”

“You know, even if I knew that you were in a famous band, I wouldn’t treat you any differently.” I said

“See, exactly my point why you are a wonderful girl” he exclaimed
