The next morning, I was still thinking of what I would wear. I honestly don’t have any dress in my closet because I don’t usually go to parties. The party’s tonight and I still have nothing to wear. Wow, I am so lame at times!
I was digging into my closet when I heard a knock on the door. Who the hell can that be?
I reluctantly opened the door and saw a guy with a package on his hands.
“Ms Natasha Carson?” the guys asked
“Yes?”
“You’ve got a package, please sign over here” he said as he handed me a piece of paper
“Uhh… sorry, but I don’t recall anyone sending me any package” I say reading the paper
“Well, that is your name right?” the guys asked
“Yeah”
“Then it’s your package” he concluded
“Fine then” I whispered then signed
“Thanks” the guys said then immediately went away
I stare at the package that I settled on my bed for a good ten minutes. What can be inside? And who would send me anything? Most especially, why? Whatever, I’ll just have to open it in order to find out. I stood up from the couch and then opened the package. I found a very nice lavender dress inside. It was so soft and nice. Who could have given this to me? I noticed a piece of paper fell down as I held the dress up.
I just thought that you might have a hard time finding a dress for yourself. I took the liberty of getting a dress for you. I just hope you like it because I think it suits you perfectly.

I cannot believe he bought me this dress! I swear, he just goes off and buys things for me. I never even asked him to! Although, I am honestly touched that he had the effort to get me a good dress. I truly like the dress. I would have picked this exact dress if I were to buy a new one. He really knows what I want.
Okay, now I don’t have any problem on what to wear anymore. Wow, just like that, I have nothing to do for the whole day already. I was expecting to be hunting for a good dress the whole day but I ended quite early.
Fine, I’ll just call Ryan now and ask him about his random actions. I waited until he picked up.
“Hello?” I hear a husky voice say
“Ryan? Did you just wake up?” I asked amused
“Uh… Tash? Is that you? Ye-yeah actually I just woke up” he said in the other line
“Sorry to wake you up but I got this really weird package just an hour ago” I say
“Oh, right. Did you like it?” he asked happily now
“Ry, what did I say about buying me random stuff without asking me?” I ask
“Oh, yeah, shit, sorry but when I saw that dress, I remembered you so I bought it already and I thought you—“
“I really like it Ryan. Thanks. That’s really sweet of you to do” I cut his rambling
“Oh— you… you like it?” he said
“Yeah, it’s nice. It sure does fit me” I smile, as if he could see me
“Well, I’d do anything for you Tash.” He said proudly
“I just called to say thanks but next time, would you mind asking me first or warning me that a package would be coming for me? I wouldn’t want random packages coming up my apartment every now and then” I said lightheartedly
“Sure, I can do that” he chuckled
“Thanks again Ryan, I really appreciate it”
