There's Just Too Much That Time Cannot Erase

Chapter 35

Next Month: Amy's P.O.V.

It's now early March and the guys are in the studio, getting to work on the new album. Since they start writing right after an album drops, they have some things left over from Three Cheers, it's a song called 'I Don't Love You' and it's about half way done, being written that is. They're making up lyrics and singing as they go along, it's going pretty good so far. I'm sitting with Brian in the other part of the studio, watching him messing with the different buttons.

"Hey guys, how about we just try Gerard with the vocals," Brian said into the microphone and the guys all nodded. They put down their instruments and left Gerard behind after closing the door to the booth.

"Okay bud, try that fourth and fifth part again," Brian said into the mic.

Gerard nodded and sung the verse, didn't sound that well, let's leave it at that.

"Hmm," Brian said, "You sound like you haven't had your coffee today bud."

"What're you looking at?" I asked him as he smiled at me.

"I think I know how to fix this, get up Ames," Brian said as he stood up and took my hand. He opened the door to the studio booth and Gerard raised an eyebrow. Brian grabbed a chair and sat it front of Gerard, making me sit down in it.

"Okay, new approach, Gee I want you to pretend your singing this to Amy, we'll see how it turns out," he said to Gerard.

"Okay, let's give it a shot," Gerard said nodding.

Brian wished him goodluck and closed the door behind himself, giving Gerard the signal to go on.

Gerard turned me and looked into my eyes before he started singing, I have to say that sometime's Brian can be a genious.

Sometimes I cry so hard from pleading
So sick and tired of all the needless beating
But baby when they knock you
Down and out
It's where you oughta stay

When after all the blood that you still owe
Another dollar's just another blow
So fix your eyes and get up
Better get up
While you can

"Beautful!" Brian said as he and the guys started clapping.

"That was awesome babe," I said smiling as I kissed Gerard's cheek.

"Alright, do we want to take a break or try the whole song now?" Brian asked.

"Go for it," I said nodding.

"Let's try the whole song this time," Gerard said nodding.

He took my hands in his and started again, and this time it sounded three times better.

Well when you go
So never think I'll make you try to stay
And maybe when you get back
I'll be off to find another way

When after all this time that you still owe
You're still the good-for-nothing I don't know
So take your gloves and get out
Better get out
While you can

When you go
Would you even turn to say
I don't love you
Like I did
Yesterday

Sometimes I cry so hard from pleading
So sick and tired of all the needless beating
But baby when they knock you
Down and out
It's where you oughta stay

When after all the blood that you still owe
Another dollar's just another blow
So fix your eyes and get up
Better get up
While you can

When you go
Would you even turn to say
I don't love you
Like I did
Yesterday

Well come on, come on

When you go
Would you have the guts to say
"I don't love you
Like I loved you
Yesterday

I don't love you
Like I loved you
Yesterday

I don't love you
Like I loved you
Yesterday

"Wow," was all Brian could say when Gerard was done. "I think we're done for the day, awesome."

Gerard and I stood up and he wrapped an arm around my waist before we walked out of the room together, and the rest of the day we spent with the guys, just chilling out in Frank and Mikey's room.
