With Toby out trying to get rid of his vampire blood, Savannah is inconsolable. She has focused all of her attention on Toby, worried about losing him. On her seventeenth birthday, Toby contacts her about a specific rose he needs, one he thinks can help him get rid of his vampire blood. He doesn't want Savannah to bring it though. Of course, how can Savannah stop worrying about the man she loves when he doesn't want her there?
