The Cheater's Ex-Girlfriend

I woke up to find myself layed across the sofa, my shoes had been taken off and a light blanket had been layed over me, with a awkward placed pillow behind my head, I sat up making the pillow fall to the floor and the blanket fall away from me slightly, while I stretched out and let a soft yawn escape. I could here two voices then, it sounded like a heated conversation but I couldn't hear excately what was being said, I pulled the quilt off my legs and swung my legs over, I could see my knee for some reason and it had bruised nicely, 'Ouch, that looks majorly painful', I stood up then and slowly walked over to where the two voices were talking. I peered into the room Kat had walked in earlier for the popcorn so it must have been the kitchen, inside was Kat and Erik talking, but Erik was in a rage with his arms flying over his head as he tried to get whatever point he had across to his mum,

"...but you don't know what I found, there was drops of human blood on that tree trunk and it smelt just like her" he pointed to the door I was hiding behind,

"That doesn't mean anything my son, she's been here safe and sound asleep, the popcorn worked and it sent her straight to sleep" she said with a small smile,

"You weren't suppose to drug her so she would sleep, you may not be good with looking after humans but you could give her some respect, she's the love of my life mother!" he screeched, I had to cover my ears from it,

"Don't start screeching, you'll wake her up, anyways she should be waking up now anyway, why don't you go and surprise her, do not! say anything about when you found, she may not know her father is still alive..." she spoke out, and Erik sighed,

I got a shock which made me freeze then Erik started walking over to the door and I quickly stood up as quietly as I could and ran over to the sofa, layed down and pulled the blanket over me then pretended to be asleep. Erik chuckling made me open my eyes,

"You left the pillow on the floor" he said with a smile while holding up said pillow,

"Oh..." I looked down embaressed of being caught out,

"So...what did you hear??" he asked direct, in big trouble now,

"Um...only a little bit..." I said trying to change the subject somehow,

"Rae please, I need to know so I can explain" he said, his voice was worried,

"You found blood on a trunk and something about my dad, my dad is dead he's been dead for ages" I said looking up at him scared,

"Oh don't be scared Rae" he wrapped his arms around me and huddled me too him, "Just ignore what you heard ok"

he started rocking me which made me sleepy again, he then smiled at me and kissed my neck once, he took hold of my hand and then pulled me to my feet,

"Let me show you my room" he said with a smile,

he started walking to the stairs, I caught sight of his mum glaring at me, what had I done?? ok so I sneek a peek in what they were saying but they shouldn't have been talking so loud, and as I heard, she drugged me. I sent a glare back which made a shocked exspression on her face as I followed Erik to the stairs and then to his room.
