Memories

Prolouge

He was a couple of years older than me, or at least He looked that way. It’s hard to tell. They told me to kill Him. He had blond hair and green eyes, about the same color as emeralds. I didn’t even know what His name was. I still don’t. There is a reason why I am telling you this. You will figure that out later.

The weird thing about Him is that he knew a lot about me. Like my real name. I have never told anyone my real name. And He knew that I wouldn’t hurt him. That sounds weird to you, I know, but where I live and where I came from, if any of the Others came near us, someone would be ordered to kill them.

The Others lived in fear of us. They should. I’ve seen one time, where one of our own was killed for interrupting our leader. Yeah, it’s a bad world. I’ve decided to rebel against what I think is wrong. It’s gonna get me killed eventually. Which brings be back to where I was now.
