Pirates roamed the oceans at a time where wars were fierce. Some chose to stay the coarse, others chose a more safe path.
For one young man the safe path was the way he was shown, but the blood of a pirate ran too strong within him. So instead of following his parents wishes, Elias embarked on a dangerous journey where he meets some rather interesting characters.
Of course, Elias isn't all that innocent himself. He is after all, the son of the notorious Captain Synyster Gates.
When a family member is taken from you, things tend to look different. Actions become rash and carried with little planning.
