Chapter One: Lonely In This World

Here I sit, staring through my bedroom window watching the stars light the night. The moon as their leader. Even though I enjoy this beautiful view, my heart is shadowed away in the darkness. No, I do not mean I am evil. I will never be taken over by that side. Though, someone I know is on that side. He has been trying to get me to join him but every time he asks, I reject his offer. His name is Galbatorix, and believe or not, he is my father. I am Princess Andria.
My father has hidden me away from this world since the day I was born. I am a prisoner in these castle walls, and the only people that know are my father along with his guards and servants. I am lonely in this place. I don’t have any friends here, and the longer I stay here the longer I won’t. I wish to get out of this place someday. I wish someday to be released from my father’s evil grasp. . . . .
