You keep me from the arms of death...

Sapphire Hush struggles to comes to terms with the not so recent death of her loving mom and not so loving, abusive dad. At the age of nine she was shoved into a child's-home but saved by what only seemed a kind hearted family, but then what are disguises for? As she enters her new life of abuse and torment Sapphire faces the fact she doesn't fit in at school and has been titled, loser, loner and other harsh names against her. On one particulary lonesome day at the age of 16, Sapphire takes a trip to the beach in hopes that death will finally embrace her and gently help her to the new life, but as she breaths in the burning salty water she finds out that it's not deaths arms embracing her but the boy her will forever change her life...
