I sighed calmly and sencerely and replied, "Yes."

His quiet cry seemed rather childish and I was happy that not a nurse had entered the room in the mean time. But is wasn't long before one did.

"Oh dear- what's happened, "she asked, dropping the items in her hand and rushing to Ace, lightly touching his shoulder to try and bring him up while I stood at a distance, being quite patient.

"How can you not know," I stated harshly to her.

"I beg your pardon," she asked, looking up at me strangely.

"He wasn't eatting," I exclaimed in a fit.

The nurse looked at Ace in aconfused manner, but he failed to look up, or do anything other than sob in his own world.

"Oh dear," she blaguely said and got to her feet, bringing her hand to her mouth.

"Yea."

She sighed and asked, "How long?"

"Obviously since he's been here!"

"Ace, is this all true," she asked.

"You're not going to get an answer out of him. Just go- you can't do anything that I havn't already done."

"Oh. But-"

"Just go," I implied.

She sighed and turned back towards the door, closing it harshly behind her.
