Besides visiting the phsycologist, Ace's social worker Alice, the one who had picked him up from my house, visitted every Thursday to see how things were working out and whether or not he needed anything.
And then there was Marlo, the 'close-to-retirement' care worker whose job was to check on Ace; make sure he was alright. She was nice; polite. Kind of large with short greying hair and a bubbly personality. Ace didn't like her much tough; thought she was nosy. But she was really just doing her job.
