Who Knew Vengeance Would Be My Savior

“What movie are we seeing again?” I muttered as Zacky and I filed into the dark theater.

“Umm…I think we picked Monsters and Aliens.” He laughed as we took a seat up top.

I laughed and shook my head, “nice, a kiddy movie.” I muttered motioning to all the kids in the room.

He grinned, “you know you wanted to see this movie just as bad as I did.” I raised my eyebrow, “pretend I never ever said that.”

I laughed again, “alright, I’ll try to.”

He pouted, “please don’t tell anyone I said that ether, I have to keep up my tough guy exterior.”

“Tough guy?” I poked his stomach, “really now?”

He narrowed his eyes, “don’t make fun of me woman!” A few people turned around to look at us.

“Keep your damn voice down,” I scolded sticking out my tongue at him, “your making people stare at us.”

He looked over and smiled politely, “I cant help it, I’m just good looking like that.”

I laughed and rested my head on his, our fingers lacing together again. “I’m surprised Johnny and the guys didn’t follow us.”

He laughed, “I heard him saying he wanted to, but he trusts me enough.” He grinned, “it’s hard for us to think of you dating.”

“Even if it’s one of you?”

He nodded, “I mean come on, last time you went on a date things really didn’t go to well.” He sighed, “we’re protective… it’s your curse.”

“You can’t be protective of me forever.” I smiled as the lights started to dim.

“Yes we can, we’re famous, you cant tell us what not to do.” He corrected shaking a finger at me.

I laughed and shook my head, resting it on his shoulder afterwards. “Just shut up and watch the previews.”

“Yes Ma’am.”

Zacky’s POV:

I looked down when I felt something wet soaking through my shoulder. I couldn’t help but laugh when I spotted Amy fast asleep on my shoulder. A thin line of drool seeping out from the corner of her mouth. Any other time this would have been gross to me but she somehow managed to make it cute. Go figure.

My eyes flickered to the screen as the credits started to roll, I sighed and turned back to Amy, shaking her slightly. “Wake up lazy butt.”

She sighed, “do I have to?”

“Well the movie ended, and I don’t think we can live here.”

“I don’t want to live here.” She mumbled lifting up her head, blinking a few times to get used to the change in lighting, “how long ago did it end?”

“A few moments ago.” I answered standing up and stretching, “you were drooling by the way.”

She wiped at her chin, standing up slowly. “I forgot I did that sometimes,” She laughed, “sorry about that.”

I shrugged as we laced our fingers together, “I didn’t mind, it was cute actually.” I grinned as we made it’s way out of the theater. A few teenagers stopped and stared at me for a few seconds, no doubt trying to figure out if it was really me or not. I gulped and hurried past them faster, my grip on Amy’s hand tightening.

“Zacky your kind of hurting my wrist.” She muttered.

I looked back to see my knuckles turning white, I sighed and loosened my grip as I slowed my pace. “Sorry, I was just afraid those kids would recognize me,” I answered wrapping my arm around her waist now, “did I hurt you?”

“A bit, it’ll just be sore for a while. It’s nothing to worry about,” she gave me a quick reassuring smile, “I’ve had worse.”

I frowned as we walked outside, “you can hit me if you like, I wont be mad.”

She just laughed and shook her head slowly, “I don’t want to hit you Zacky,” She smiled, “I’m just tired, and no doubt everyone is still at the house waiting to tear me away from you.”

I laughed, “probably.”

“YOUR COMING WITH US!” As soon as we stepped through the doorway the girls ripped Amy from my side and up the stairs.

“Well I didn’t see that coming,” I laughed as I walked into the living room, “okay who’s going to attack me first?”

“I am,” Jimmy grinned, “did you at anytime during the movie try the very lame but effective yawn and stretch?”

I chuckled and shook my head as I sat down, Ichabod jumping up onto my lap. “I’m not a loser like you Jimmy,” He glared at me, “next question?”

“Did you attempt to feel my little sister up?” Johnny growled, a dangerous glint to his eyes.

“Nope, I respected her alright?”

All of them nodded, “what movie did you guys see?” Matt asked looking away from the video game he was playing.

“Monsters Vs. Aliens or whatever it’s called.” I answered shrugging, “there’s no good ones out.”

“That’s what you think,” Brian laughed watching the video game on the TV, “anything else happen earlier?”

“She passed out and drooled on me, otherwise no.”

Normal POV:

“Are you all done terrorizing me now?” I sighed as I grabbed a tank and some boxers from my closet.

All of the girls looked at each other before nodding slowly, “yup, are you ready for us to torture you again tomorrow?”

I sighed as I let my hair down from it’s painful ponytail, “I had forgotten all about it actually,” I laughed, “as for the Disneyland thing, I changed my mind.”

They frowned, “now where are we going?” Leana asked laying back.

“The fair.” I answered grinning, “I saw a billboard for it earlier, I haven’t been to one in years!” I couldn’t help but smile when I remembered it.

I had always wanted to run away and join a fair somehow. Get to work in the petting zoo or at one of the game stalls. Plus they always had every fucking food you could think of. I personally loved them to death.

“Oh my god, last time I went to the fair I puked on Matt.” Val laughed, “I don’t remember what he begged me to get on but afterwards I just puked everywhere.”

I wrinkled my nose at the mental image, “thanks a lot Val,” She smiled sweetly, “not to sound mean, but can you all leave so I can get dressed?”

“But your already dressed.” Michelle smiled at me.

I laughed and shook my head, “redressed in pajamas for the smartasses in the room.”

She lazily flipped me off, no doubt tired just like me. None the less the girls filed out of my room slowly, Leana calling out Jimmy’s name an octave higher than her normal voice. I laughed lightly and quickly changed my clothes, tossing my old ones into the hamper. I frowned when I spotted how full it had gotten already, I sighed and grabbed the cloth bag out of the hamper, trudging downstairs with it.

“What’re you doing?” Johnny asked spotting me.

“Laundry, unless you’ve got a load in.” I answered.

He shook his head, “no, it should be clear.” He smiled lightly, “you know how to wash clothes right?”

I laughed and nodded, “yeah, don’t worry there wont be a flood of bubbles anytime soon.”

“I WANT A FLOOD OF BUBBLES!” Jimmy screamed scaring both Michelle and Zacky awake.

I laughed and walked away from the group, walking down into the basement and over to the washing machine. I sighed and dumped out all my clothes, a bit of bile forming in my throat when I spotted the bloody ones from the other day.

I looked up to see Zacky standing there, scratching his head slowly. “Yes?” I asked opening the lid to the washing machine.

“You know our date isn’t over still right?” He asked walking over slowly, still looking half asleep.

“I didn’t know that…” I trailed off as he got closer, “well isn’t this an original date? Movies and then laundry.”

He grinned, “I’m tired…”

“Than go to bed,” I laughed closing the lid, I could wait until the morning to do this, “Ichabod will be there with you.”

He pouted, “but he’s no fun to cuddle with,” I felt my cheeks heating up for some odd reason, “come join me please?” He begged, somehow managing to make his bottom lip tremble.

I sighed, feeling my resistance giving away quickly. “Fine, just stop doing that!”

He grinned, “alright, now come on.” He snatched my wrist up into his hand and practically flew up the steps.

I didn’t mind though, I wouldn’t have wanted my date to end any other way.
