“Sorry, but I always do that and no one has ever jumped that high. I think you’re on a daze” he muttered

I sigh deeply.

“What do you wanna know?” I ask him patiently

“What happened with Luke and you?” Jersey interjected and I immediately saw the four of them grinning. Correction, just the three of them because Elliot just had a blank expression. I ignored it, as I promised myself to do.

“Nothing happened” I simply said

“Ohh, we know there was something or else you wouldn’t be smiling to yourself when you entered the classroom and you wouldn’t be startled by Alex” Cassadee pointed out

“Come on just tell us!” Jersey said, shaking my arm

“You are such a kid, you know that?” I said in the middle of laughing

“Spit it out!” Alex commanded

“FINE!” I said putting both my hands on the air “He… well, he…” I said, trying to think of the right way to say it.

“Just say it Kay Leigh.” I was shocked when I heard Elliot say this. I stare at him blankly.

“Uh… well, he did ask me out yesterday and he… uh, got my number?” I say, trying to observe their reactions

Cassadee reacted first. She put both her hands over her mouth and squealed

“Oh my God Kay! That was really fast! He really likes you!” she cheered

“Man, Luke likes her” Alex muttered

“Really likes” Jersey emphasized

I hear Elliot scoff and sit back to his seat. What is up with him? I swear. I have to control myself or else I will end up punching him again.

“You’re really lucky because Luke never ever asks anyone out. Girls usually ask him out.
He seldom does this or should I say, he has never done this kind of thing” Cassadee said

“Well, he is really nice and good looking too” I whispered the last part to her

She smiled evilly and patted my shoulder

“Congratulations my friend!” Alex said and ruffled my hair

“Hey what was that for?’ I ask as I fix my now ruined hair

“For having a date with Luke tomorrow!” Jersey yelled

Everyone in the classroom looked at us and stared straight at me

“Oh shit, sorry for disturbing” Jersey said to the people but they continued to stare at me

“It’s bad to stare guys, especially to glower” Alex announced to all of them but I could still feel the piercing glares they were all throwing at me. What the hell is their problem?

“Why the hell did you have to yell that out loud Jersey?” I hissed to him as I continue looking down

“Next time, tone down your voice Ok?” I say strictly
