Tell Me How You Love Me Now

Nothing really happened the rest of the ride. He drove me home and we both separated after arriving in the house. I never said a word about it again and he never brought it up. Maybe I really need to be with Luke. I need him to get over this feeling I have. He can help me with this, I am sure. If Elliot doesn’t want me then, I don’t want him as well. I am even better off with Luke… I think and hope.

“So, did you confront him?” Cass asked me “The others are excited to know whether we have a couple already!”

“Nope” I mumble

“What do you mean no?’

“No, we are not a couple. I am answering Luke today”

“But, I thought you were gonna talk… to him?’

“I did and he doesn’t feel anything for me… and I don’t too” I lied

“You’re lying”

“No I am not. I was confused and he clarified it to me yesterday. That’s all”

“So you mean, he told you that it’s okay to be with Luke?”

“He basically threw me to him” I sighed

“He is such an ass. He will regret being a jerk I swear” Cass said

“Hey, I like Luke and I think we can work out just fine. Be happy for me. Can you do that?” I tried to say as truthfully as possible

“Fine. Luke’ s a piece of work too. He is nice. Perhaps the both if you will work out just fine” shed smiled “Tell me after you drop the bomb ok?”

“Yeah sure”

Now, to find Luke. I walked around and spotted him with his basketball friends. It’s now or never. I took a deep breath and approached their group.

“Man, your girl’s walking to us” some guy named Jason said while I walk to them

Luke turned around and smiled at me. I smiled back and got a hold of his hand

“I need to talk to you… now” I whispered to him

“Okay.” He said softly with a confused face. “Guys, I’ll be back in a minute” he told his friends

“Anytime man.”

“Let’ go?” he lead me out the cafeteria and to a more secluded place

“So, what-“

I cut him by kissing him straight on his lips. He jumped a bit.

“Whoa” he exclaimed when I pulled away.

I bit my lips and looked up to him under my lashes

“Does that mean…” he looked up wearing a thinking expression

“Yes, Luke, yes” I tell him

“Really? Are you serious?”

“Yeah of course!”

“I can’t believe you’re my girlfriend now! I was worried that you would reject me to be honest”

“Why?”

“I dunno. Maybe because you were different. You’re a different girl and I never know what you’ve got to say”

“Aw, really?”

“Yes. But now, I am relieved that I am done with the painful act of waiting up for you. I promise not to hurt you” he said, holding my hand

“I know you’d take care of me.”



“I am happy for you guys” Cass said happily after I inform the guys about me and Luke

“I like Luke but I cant believe you’re actually together now” Jersey said

“Anyone who even feels something for you totally and I mean totally lost his chance now” Alex said a little too loud

Now I understand what Cass meant in Alex being the only outspoken one about noticing that Elliot has feelings for me. I realized that he has always been talking about someone who likes me and who is gonna lose his chance if I finally am with Luke. Maybe he is doing that to give Elliot a wake up call. A call that he never seemed to get or he purposely ignored.

“At least she’s happy now right?” Mike said

“What do you think El?” Cass asked casually

“Uh, yeah. Whatever” he said absentmindedly

“O-kay, not that persuasive now are we?” Cass said

“I am just thinking of something else” he answered, still with a blank expression
