Vampire Story Outline

It takes an average time of 8.31 minutes for the Sun's rays to reach Earth.
Its nicknamed "Old Light"
That is why we do not burn.

There is a difference between light and dark.
Things - creatures come from each. Nurtured by their surroundings until they grow and strive to carry on living.
Some are kind, loving, helpful. Others are not.
There have been many different myths for the dark ones.
Holy water. Light. Prayer. Christianic crosses. Silver.
What would you do if one of them was, shall we say - flawed?
Would you run - would you hide?
Or shall you fight..?

"The Sun's light does not harm that which is old. It may be because they are the both the same." - An old, wisdom-type voice.. An Elder.
"Elders." - Child-like Whisper
"Time is never very kind to those that rule against it." Another wisdom-type figure. Like part of an order or a dark follower.
"Immortals." - Child-like/hushed whisper
"Especially when they steal other's time." - Same voice again - an elder vampire..
"Vampires." - Hushed whisper..

Artificial. Natural.
Two different elements completely.
There is natural light and there is artificial light..
Yet, is there such a thing as a natural vampire?
Created through a mutation of genes - inhuman desires - bloodlust invoked, sanity ripped apart, survival determined.
Population count; Unknown.
Life expectancy; Infinity.
How can you destroy something that cannot be killed?
..Or can it?

-Hushed weak voice- "Theres a cure...?"
Religion – one of the most powerful things in the world.
Life – something we waste away in the beginning but think to ourselves that we don't have enough of it.
Death – one thing most of us would wish to not exist.

What if there was a way to cheat death?
Would you take it?
For the sake of your family... Your lineage.. Your blood..

Even if it means you can never see them again?

Artificial. Improved. Fake. Immortal. A replica. Inhuman. A malfunction. Blood-drinker.
A weapon.
Vampire.

Are you afraid of the light?

Seek comfort by lamp-light.
Don't hide beside candle-light.
The monsters are coming.
Nature wont kill them.
They aren't natural.
Artificial creatures.
Vampires.

Whoever told you Vampires cant go out in the day was lying.
Natural light is no threat to them.
Yet, what if there was possibly a slightly different enemy for them to face.
Artificial light.
Lamp-light. Torch-light.
Maybe even candle-light.
