My Life As A Teenage Spoficus

My First and Worst day

It was reaching quarter to nine. My mum was still roaming around the place like a semi-alive zombie (and she looked like one too!!). I was half way through reading the letter off my Dad and it was really upsetting. It said:

Dear Lily,
I love you. You know i would come and see you if i could but the
Army is keeping me out in Cyprus. I miss you and i hope your not mad
at me. I didn't mean to send you and mummy away. I'll see you soon

It was a lot for me to take in at four, but i understood. I never was mad at him, it wasn't his fault. It wasn't anyone's fault.

My mum had "put her face on" and she looked like a supermodel now. I had a blue and white tartan skirt on with a blue shirt and a white cardigan with my favourite white ballerina shoes. Mum said i looked really smart. I was about to go to Cambell's Infant School. I was terrified.

We arrived at the imaculate white and blue bilding with the huge silver doors, my mum called it school... I called it a palace. I was met at the doors by a very friendly looking woman with her blue dress swaying slightly in the wind. She had the biggest smile i'd ever seen!!!

I walked slowly into the builing because i didn't want to leave me mother. The doors slammed behind me.
