You Belong With Me

Nat’s P.O.V:

It was finally the day of the talent show, we were all backstage. Lola and Lily were talking to some people, sometimes looking at us to watch what we were doing.

“Hey Nat,” someone said behind me. I turned around and smiled.

“Hey dork,” I said kissing him on the cheek.

“You look great, I think you’re gonna win the talent show.”

“Oh..You really think so? But..I think maybe Lola and Lily should win..” I said, remembering what Kristen had told me about their little plans. She made sure no one heard us, and I made sure I wasn’t totally freaked out about anything.

“Are you serious? You’re an awesome singer like Hayley! Wait, I think you’re even better!” he yelled smiling.

Now I really gotta tell him.

“Joe. We have to talk,” I said going to the corner.

“About?” he asked scared about what I was gonna say.

“I’m actually-” I stopped when I heard their names.

“Lola and Lily to the stage.”

“Umm never mind, I gotta go,” I said running to the bathroom.

I opened the door and I saw Kristen their with my wig and outfit. Oh my gosh I’m turning into another Hannah Montana.

I got dressed in about thirty seconds and ran back to backstage. Joe wasn’t there, and I knew there was gonna be a problem about this plan..

“Joe’s on stage!” Kevin yelled once he saw me.

“What?!?!?!?!” I yelled looking around.

“Lola and Lily are singing Hot by Avril Lavinge, you know the lyrics right?” he asked and I nodded.

“Kristen, you might not be able to play the guitar..but I’m gonna try to do this.” she nodded and I looked at the performance behind the curtain.

Yep, Joe was definitely on stage with them. And oh my gosh Lily was totally flirting with him. I felt my cheeks turn red from anger and I opened the door to the audience.

“You make me so hot

It's so ridiculous
I can barely stop
I can hardly breathe

You're so good to me baby, baby,” Lily sang.

“Kiss me gently

Ooh, yeah yeah,” Lola sang playing the guitar.

I got up on stage and I took the mike.

“You make me so hot
Make me wanna drop
It's so ridiculous
I can barely stop,” Lily sang, and I started singing too.

“WHY CAN'T YOU STOP?!
I can hardly breathe
You make me wanna scream!!!!!” I yelled.

“YOU'RE SO FABOULOUS!” she sang smiling at Joe.

After about thirty more seconds of singing:

“YOU MAKE ME WANNA SCREAM!” I sang trying to take her mike away.

“HAYLEY STOP!!” she yelled pushing me off the stage. Joe gasped and I closed my eyes.

“Wait – who is that?” someone said and I opened my eyes.

“Nat?” I heard Joe say. Oh no.

Everyone was crowded around me, Kristen was crying, but Joe was staring right at me.

“Joe..?” I said outta breath.

“Why didn't you tell me?” he asked and I sighed.

“I was gonna..” I closed my eyes again.

Kristen's P.O.V:

“WHY DID YOU PUSH HER OFF THE STAGE?!” I yelled at Lily and Lola. They just stayed quiet.

“I told you, I would do anything to win, even poison Nick,” Lola said smirking.

“You were going to poison me?” Nick asked behind her.

Her face turned pale. She turned around and I knew Nick was red with anger.

“You heard it wrong – I meant-”

“No. I heard right. You would do anything to win – EVEN KILL ME?!” Nick yelled and he caught everyone's attention.

This might be a long fight.
