Sequel: Black Rose

Statues Without Eyes

Welcome to Miami

Sitting on my bike, taking in all the fame, I smirked towards Jake, that undercover officer who was sitting in the stands watching. I only knew he was undercover since I've known him for a while now. He's actually the only person who knows who my dad is, so in a way he's become a friend for me.
"Yo, Sylar,"a guy mentioned as he walked up to me.
"What's up?"I nodded.
"It's your last run of this tour, you going to go big?"
"Watch me,"I smirked putting on my helmet and heading to the start.

To say "go big" is an understatement, that's all I ever go for in the first place. Finishing my run, I was satisfied with what I got. I ended up getting first which I knew I was up for some serious partying tonight with Jake. Walking up to him as my crew put my bike back, he gave me a slight hug.

"Wow biker gang member hugging me,"I laughed,"I'd be careful if I were you."
"Whatever Sy,"He rolled his eyes,"I've known you too long not to congradulate you."
"It was fun though,"I leant against the railing.
"So what are you doing now that the tour's over?"
"I think I'm going to stick around Miami a while,"I looked at him,"You know, catch up with you, maybe talk to my dad."
"Too bad he doesn't know about you."
"Oh he will,"I smirked,'Besides too much traveling can wear a person out."
"Well hey you up for a round of drink?"
"Sure,"I smirked,"You buying?"
"Of course,"He smirked back.

Then just like that, a shot went off in the crowd and someone screamed. Watching people leave, I ran to the commotion as Jake left since he knew it could end bad for him being undercover so I wasn't pissed. Stopping short, there was a body laying in the bleachers as I heard people running that way. Guess I'm a witness now huh?

Telling the cops who responded first what I heard then seen, a Crime Scene Investigator walked up. And you know how people walk in slow motion when they're so unbelievably attractive? Yeah, that's how this guy just walked into the room. Flashing him my FBI badge he smirked just a bit.

"I don't know we needed the FBI?"
"Well you don't,"I sighed,"I just happened to be here and it happened so I thought I could help."
He looked up at me after sitting his case down,"You're Sylar Caine?"
"Yeah."
"Extreme motocyclist galore?"
"That's me'I smiled,"I'm a profiler too, so it's a balance."
"I'm just going to process the scene,"He nodded,"They'll probably want your statement back to Miami Dade."
"Probably,"I sighed,"But I'm not a killer, so don't think that."
"It's not my job to assume things,"He smiled.
"Well since you know my name,"I thought for a second,"What's yours?"
"Ryan Wolfe."
"Well Ryan Wolfe,"I smirked,"I'll see you back at Miami Dade."

And that's how I met him, ironic isn't it? Now it's been two days into this thing and I've been cleared on any charges so they have me helping out with some of things like talking to people and what not. I guess you could say it's an audition to see how I'd do in a postition here. Right now, I was putting my things in a locker for the time being before I met Horatio to start the day.

"So Horatio,"I looked at him as he looked at his sunglasses,"Where do I start today?"
"I want you to go with Mr. Wolfe back to the crime scene to see if there's anything else we could use."
"Ok,"I nodded.

As I left, a piece of paper was handed to Horatio that he requested about me.

I promise this will get better as it goes a long. It's just slow starting right now, so have patience and bear with me.
