Statues Without Eyes

It was the end of the week in Greece with Ryan which really sucked since now I was packing everything back up to head to Miami. I really didn't want to go back because that meant I would miss it like crazy here not to mention the trip was the best thing ever.
Looking at the ring sitting on my finger, it sparkled in the light as I smiled,"So who'd you have help you pick out the ring?"
"Why?"Ryan looked at me as I smirked which he rolled his eyes to,"Fine it was Calleigh."
"Aww, how cute, so she knows you were going to ask me?"
"Yeah,"He smiled wrapping his arms around me,"I'm just glad you said yes."
"And she's keeping quiet about this?"
"For now,"He kissed me lightly,"Come on, finish packing, we have a flight to catch in two hours."
"Oh joy,"I rolled my eyes but finished packing.

Finally getting home to Miami, I had to head into the crime lab while Ryan went home. Lucky jerk, got to go home to sleep while I had to head into the lab.
"Hey H,"I smiled at him slightly"What'd you need me for?"
"We need an extra hand here, think you can manage?"
"Yeah,"I sighed,"I mean I am extremely tired though from the trip."
"Just a few hours,"He nodded.
"Ok,"I yawned as I headed into the lab with Calleigh.

"Hey,"I slumped into the room.
"Hey, sorry about calling you in."
"It's ok,"I leant on my elbows,"I'm just so exhausted."
"Well it's just for a couple hours then you can go home."
"Thanks."
"So how was your vacation?"Calleigh smiled.
"It was great,"I smiled while pulling my hair up.
"Anything exciting happen?"
"You should know,"I rolled my eyes,"But yes."
"Did you say yes?"
"Yes,"I smiled at her as she smiled bigger than went to hug me.
"Congrats."
"Thank you,"I smiled.

Eric walked into the room to see us and gave us a strange look which we just brushed it off with a smile.
"Hey, I need you to come with me,"Eric looked at me.
"Ok, why?"
"I'll explain in the car,"Eric mentioned as I looked at Calleigh then followed out to the Hummer.

"So, what's up?"I asked closing the door as I watched him.
"We're meeting Angelo."
"What? Why?"
"He didn't say but it sounded urgent."
"Wow, just ruin my fun,"I rolled my eyes.
"Hey don't worry I'll be there with you in case it's something bad or something."
"You don't have to be."
"It's ok,"He smiled at me,"You need someone who's on the same side as you and know's what you're going through."
"Thanks, I think."
"Don't mention it,"Eric smiled as he pulled into an empty parking lot where Angelo jumped out of a car as he walked out towards him.
